@Rickyrab That coach is not in this video. However, Johns mother, and his 73' Superior is seen at 2:56. John is very much missed and will never be forgotten among us in the hearse club community. Thanks for your inquiry, and interest.
I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old V8 in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Mercedes vintage owners in Germany do so :)
Hearses are actually a pretty nice fun car to have. They probably have versitility too. Also, they have some historical value as well. I"d get one if I had a place to park it.
two things come to mind when i see this vid... one is my hearse ( 1988 Buick lesabre.. all black..) and two: when the Vegas Vacation movie with Griswold family!
@hearsedriver1968 They're all beautiful! I love them all! So far my favorite is the Lincoln (I think) @ 1:22 with the T-Bird looking headlights, What is it a 79 probaby? Awesome video bro! Thanks!
@esther444 Thanks for the comment, and I feel that Prince Poppycock should have no trouble making it all the way.........well..........thats if the rest of America knows what good raw talent is that is. America's Got Talent is the premere reality show.

Good vid man, I was thinking of getting me a hearse, made between the 70's or the 80's and a wooden coffin to finish it off, those things aren't cheap you know.
I can't wait till they haul me away in a hearse. Today's society is the beginning of the end! These are the spoken words of a severe depressed motherfucker.
That one I belive is a 76', which the only difference I've seen is the grille. There are both 75's and 76's in my other hearse video. Thanks for watching.
The coach at 2:56 is a 1973 Cadillac Superior which was owned by John Keel, the young man who sadly passed away. His mother shows the car in his honor at several carshows per year, this video was dedicated in his memory. Thanks
This coach belonged to John Keel who passed away at a young age. His mother Ann takes the car to shows and started the Mid-Michigan Professional Car Society Chapter in his honor.
I'm quite thankful that Ann Keel is no longer the president of the Mid-Michigan Chapter. Goddamn, when she was the president, each and every issue of the newsletter featured just pictures and stories about either her or John. Did she forget that there are several other members in the chapter other than herself?
Yes it is! "Morticia" is a 78' M/M which is seen here and there throughout the video. The 60' is out in CA someplace, and can be found on Coffin Cruisers Hearse club site.
I thought it looked familiar. I've never seen it in person, but I've been to the Coffin Cruisers website and seen it there. Your '78 is very nice, I've always admired the clean lines of the late-'70s Caddies. I've owned a couple, an '86 Ford Crown Vic and an '87 Caddy Superior that I miss very much.
Nice video.
I wish I had one of these cars.
