  • this is bullshit filled with misleading statements about a "free market" the same thing goes on in russia and china so its not about capitalism.

  • Sue the fuck out of the parasites who r making money off dead people in this way. No company has the right to make money off the death of their worksers.

  • I don't understand how so many people here are blinded by their idealism and ignorance. Do people not understand that insurance companies are not endless fountains of money? Companies cant take out policies, kill workers, make big profit, the insurance company would go bankrupt if that was the case, or would not take on the policy...

Is logic in such short supply in the world?

  • @accountNo9 We're not supposed to understand the monetary system.

  • @GoodTimesChopShop Ignorance robs you of power, take responsibility and learn, if i can understand it, you can. This is simply sensationalist, misleading, garbage news.

also monetary system relates to currency not insurance policies - and this is just basic logic

  • @accountNo9 We're not supposed to understand the economy either... It's all fake, printed on rag paper which holds no value, it used to be backed by gold, no more, we're just barely hanging on by the last pubic hair we've got America. They already took our balls, our liberty, our freedom. Freedom isn't going to a bar and getting drunk and getting fat off mcdonalds, that's corporatism and consumerism at it's finest. Capitalism, whatever you wanna call it, the cookie crumbled long ago.

  • @GoodTimesChopShop If you endeavor to understand it, the economy can be understood, and it should be everybody's responsibility to at least try and grasp the systems that govern them. I do agree with you that capitalism has been corrupted in the USA, replaced by crony capitalism and corporatism.

This video however, a story created by Michael Moore, is phony. Companies are not profiting from peoples deaths, this is not possible. Open your eyes and see this is sensationalist fake news by abc.

  • @accountNo9 If you went to the walmart where I live, you'd think otherwise. When I was unemployed I applied there 20 times and didn't get a job, and I'm an intelligent, fit, strong, hardworking young man. They've got 99 year old women working there and people in wheel chairs working there.. Now if you don't see something fishy there, well wake up and smell the chemtrails or something man. They've got people looking like they'll die any minute working there.

  • @GoodTimesChopShop Where i think you are failing is that you don't understand how insurance works. What your suggesting is that Wallmart is making a profit off the insurance policies, which implies that the insurance company is making a loss - this doesn't make sense. If a person is old, sick etc it costs more to insure them, the insurance company CANNOT make continued losses in this way or it would go bankrupt.

Would like more logic in the world please

RON PAUL 2012, abolish the fed, deregulate

  • @accountNo9 haha deregulate. Yeah lets just hand the country over to billionaires. In 50 years the amount of poverty in this country would be outrageous. Minimum wage would be gone, monopolies would exist (eliminating competition) which would skyrocket prices for common good and services. If you had an accident at work and broke your neck, who would protect you? Nobody. Your employer would fire you and you'd be fucked. Great idea.

  • @accountNo9 Whats your point? The issue is that huge corportations are getting tax breaks by taking life insurance policies out on its workers. Whether the worker lives or dies, the corporation wins. Companies shouldn't be allowed to do this. There's a reason why I can't take out an insurance policy on your house burning down. If I could I would then have a vested interest in the destruction of YOUR house. Insurance policies were not created so people could use them as money making schemes.

  • These two ladies are secretly insured by abc news.

  • These cockroaches should be in jail.

They should be in jail in Malaysia.

  • Those MF's are not mankind.

  • They been doing this for years on contractors working over here in war zones. The last company I worked for the going rate if we bite it they get 1,000,000.00 Sorry off by one zero.

  • They been doing this for years on contractors working over here in war zones. The last company I worked for the going rate if we bite it they get 100,000.00

  • nice, guys!!! if u think your bussiness goes to bankrupt on the next3 years, ensure your employeesss an poison them slowly!!!!! u can save your company !!!!! Money is all,!!!!!!

    Mother fuckers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It just proves that workers are considered to be just numbers and have a status not above a machine, in fact probably lower than a machine.

  • Ron Paul or shhot your brains out.

  • May it is time to take out life insurance policies on the people on wall street.

  • NO JUSTICE ! NO PEACE ! OCCUPY WALL STREET

  • @kn9ioutom Check out my documentary "How To Rob A Bank"

  • @kn9ioutom its fun watching you worthless people starve

  • It's just plain wrong for anyone to have an insurance policy on someone if they don't know about it. It should be illegal.

  • ITS Exactly what Insurance Companies are doing - they are BETTING that you will live and they can collect Premiums, and the Beneficiary is BETTING that they will DIE before they pay it all . . .

  • Life insurance is almost always a bad investment (return on money paid in). If it was a good investment then the insurance companies would go broke. The insurance company charges you premiums at a rate that will probably give them a profit. This report makes it sound like the companies are trying to PROFIT from insurance policies. In fact they are trying to PROTECT themselves.

  • I was a truck driver, my employer refused to change a bad steering tire on the semi-truck, I quit my job; The truck sat in the yard, from mon to thursday;

    On friday another driver drove the truck out onto the highway with no load, the steer tire blew and the semi-truck / trailer was pitched into the oncoming lane, luckily no one was coming, because cars always lose when hit by semi-trucks head-on at highway speeds; I reported this to government occupational safety and no investigation was held;

  • if u think about it, its not a total 'profit' i mean.. insuring the death of an employee they have to train and replace them.. i mean if the employeeis important? it makes sense, although its " strange " it makes sense. its not 'making a buck' its actually compensating from the loss of an employee who is important to the company.

  • READ the Judaic Bible TORAH, and you will see why gentiles are treated like cattles. Look up -- Israel admitts illegal organ harvesting -- look up -- USS LIBERTY !!__

  • wait a sec, you could argue this is amoral, however this is really sensationalist. The insurance policy is not designed for companies to profit from employee death, but rather as a compensation method for the company's for loss of a valuable employee - in a very similar way that a family is compensated for loss of a loved one.

  • @accountNo9 Right, because Wal-Mart obviously needs $1,000,000 to cover the "loss" of a "valuable," overworked, underpaid greeter or restocker or janitor when they have a stack of applications sitting in the back room.

  • @ProfMike789 Who said walmart would go to the trouble of insuring greeters and re-stockers?! let alone that their policy's are worth 1 million dollars?! You need to remember the insurance companies making these policies are not just giving money away. In reality the companies would be close to breaking even with what they spend on employee policies and what they gain (including tax break), however they also gain the security of coverage if an employee is lost.

  • We love the bottom line, we live for the bottom line and we will starve for the bottom line. For the bottom line, we are willing to see our children suffer, our parents struggle and be the laughing stock of the rich.

  • Comment removed

  • This is such nonsense. The employer certainly has a financial interest in the employee LIVING, and it is reasonable for them to protect themselves from the COST to the business of the employee dying. That is a far cry from "wishing they were dead". Shame on you for such biased reporting. How about horse breeders? They insure the horse (just in case) - but does that mean they wish it dead?

  • @slickvguy I hope you realize you are spouting utter bullcrap. Total nonsense. What exactly incentivizes Wal-Mart to want to keep its employees alive when dozens of the unemployed, all perfectly capable of doing the job just as well, are desperate for work, and they've got a pile of applications sitting in the back room anyway? Maybe you think your employer values you? If whatever company you work for could make even a nickel off your death, you REALLY wanna bet they wouldn't want you dead?

  • This sort of activity will motivate employers to not carry health insurance if you are worth more to them dead.

  • @Doorocker

Why should employers have anything to do with a person's health insurance? It is much better for the employee to get his pay in cash with which he can buy whatever insurance he thinks is best for his specific circumstances. The only reason employers offer health insurance plans (the cost of which must logically come out of the employee's pay check since it is part of the cost to hiring him) is to avoid having to pay higher taxes. It doesn't benefit employees at all.

  • @Doorocker I love that response. It's brilliant!

  • creepy

  • America because of the money become immoral. what's the different with the suicide bomber ?

  • Just shows you: American corporations and big business has no morals, no feelings and no compunctions about how it treats workers. Any company buying "Dead Peasants Insurance" should be boycotted until they drop the practice. Also: it should be ILLEGAL to take out a life insurance policy on someone without their knowledge and permission. That would stop them right in their slimy tracks.

  • America now has worse healthcare than Cuba, that's just proves that America needs universal health care.

  • I love how biased this story was. They didn't interview a single person who wasn't completely against the practice. This baloney is just as biased as fox news.

  • @Aliothemage Probably because it would be hard to find a person willing to defend this slimy, disgusting practice. Why do you think companies have tried to keep it a secret? Because people are revolted by this. Even the name of it is hideous. A company's employees are just peasants on whose life you can gamble ... and win big? Who could defend such disgusting practices?

  • @leizuoer

You only think that because you've only seen that side of the story. You are the exact type of person who this kind of 1 sided media is designed to manipulate. As such, you should be even more bothered by this video than I was.

  • @Aliothemage Companies are doing this, that fact isn't in dispute. Now that we know they're doing it, it's MY opinion that it's disgusting. I don't really care what Michael Moore thinks of it, although we happen to be in agreement. If you're happy with betting on people's lives, that's your business.

  • @leizuoer

Of course you find it disgusting, you're only been shown a slanted version of the truth designed to make it look disgusting.

Wives bet on the lives of husbands. Is that disgusting too?

  • @Aliothemage The relationship between a wife and husband is consensual and loving. Wives and husbands take out joint life insurance with each others' CONSENT. That's the key word: consent. These companies don't have the permission to take this out and they don't have the decency to inform the person being forcefully insured. Then someone dies, their relatives get NOTHING and the company pockets millions. You're defending a person being insured against their will.

  • @leizuoer The relationship between an employer and an employee is also based on consent. Also, the wife doesn't need the consent of the husband for her to buy life insurance for him.

Besides, the only reason businesses are doing this in the first place is because it is a way for them to avoid higher taxes.

And finally, what harm have they actually done anyone? If you invest in life insurance for me, it doesn't make me any worse off. Nothing wrong has been done.

  • @Aliothemage It's been established that the couple were UNAWARE of the policy. Therefore, the company did not have the employee's consent. That should be illegal. Could I marry someone without their consent? Could I force someone to work for me? The answer is no and no. So why should I be allowed to insure someone without their consent .... especially when the person being insured and/or their family aren't even a partial beneficiary. Disgusting. Plus the name: Dead Peasants? Fuck them.

  • @leizuoer

A wife can get an insurance policy for a husband without him knowing.

And why should it be illegal, it doesn't violate his rights of life, liberty, or his pursuit of happiness. It does absolutely no harm to him.

You can't make someone work for or marry you without consent because that would violate their right to liberty. Buying insurance policies for them does not violate any of their rights. And the businesses buying this kind of life insurance didn't come up with that term...

  • @Aliothemage come on, most of the people they insure cannot afford to buy in to the plans themselves, meaning they are being exploited, you don't see anything wrong with exploitation?

  • @davis849

First; why are you assuming most of these ppl can't afford life insurance?

Second, in what way are they being exploited? These insurance plans don't cost those people ANYTHING, they aren't ANY worse off whether those plans exist or not. It doesn't harm a hair on their head.

And finally, employees "exploit" their employers just as much as employers "exploit" employees. But neither is made worse off from the relationship (or else they wouldn't agree to be working together).

  • @davis849 You are right. Most of us have lost our moral sight in this country and we tout the words, "bottom line" and "profit motive" as if they were a gift from God.

  • @leizuoer Oh, I'd say a good 5% or so of the commenters on this video. Filthy, indoctrinated, capitalist-apologist slime bags, the lot of 'em.

  • @ProfMike789

    have you ever bought something.

chosen what to buy where to work.

done anything to improve your way of life.

    congrats you are a capitalist.

capitalism is the way of life. choice. decisions. innovation. evolution.

thats why socialism does not work my friend it fights against human nature etc..

and the freedom of choice. its not perfect but life isnt. nor did anyone say it was.

  • @Bren565 ......buy a semi-truck, insure it for accidents, then hire a driver and make sure the steer tires are cheap;

    when the tire blows, and the driver is killed, you now will have 1.5 million to buy more trucks and life insurance;

    repeat this step over and over;

    you now are a billionaire;

(we live in a sick society were there is no value to human life except PROFIT;)

    Knowing what I now know, i don;t trust any employer whatsoever;

  • @FIXWCBCANADA

    yeah,

there was something similar i saw about Ford when they realized that the Pinto had safety problems, but that crunched numbers and found it was cheaper to settle out of court for death lawsuits than for them to recall the cars and have them fixed...

I honestly think problems like these begin at home- i really do feel that if children are treated with kindness, compassion, and discipline, then when they grow up they will be more likely to object to things like this.

  • @FIXWCBCANADA Isn't it great! Greed is Good! Its a Wonderful thing!

  • i don't get what is wrong with betting on people's lives. Does it have to do with pan-american bigoted treatment of gambling?

  • YEAH LIKE WE NEED A BULLIT IN THE HEAD DUMMY

  • Another reason why we need Universal Healthcare. This is all a bunch of bullshit.

  • @drethegreat64 How does universal health care have anything to do with this?

  • I feel that the problem with these life insurance policies is that they create an environment in which your employer wishes you were dead. This leads to them denying you health insurance, not caring if you work in hazardous environments, and an overall lack of value on the workers.

  • Why am I not surprised at this.

  • ***PEOPLE, PLEASE READ MY *COMMENTS IN THE YOUTUBE VIDEO “MICHAEL MOORE VISITS MADISON”!!! (THE ONE WITH OVER 500,000 VIEWS. MY COMMENTS BEGIN ON COMMENT PAGE 2)

  • I'm okay with it as long as a big chunk of it goes to the deceased persons executor for dispersment to who the person wanted that money to go to. At least 50% of it. And they can foot the premium of life insurance on that person and keep the other half. Free life insurance. But they need to ensure they share that benefit. Otherwise, it is very creepy and dickish to cash in on such policies and leave the families F'd.

  • waith... what? o.o

  • fucked up

  • American capitalism.

  • my employer has a $50k policy but who knows if there's more

  • Companies insure Key Personnel so that if they die the company can absorb the loss incurred until they find a replacement. This is extremely important to small companies that rely heavily on talented individuals. They are not betting or hoping you die they are protecting themselves against risk when they become over reliant on single employee's.

  • @straituptruth That's right, like in Moore's film they put an example, a girl 26 YO that worked 18 months in Wal Mart decorating pies.

  • Apart from simply being MORALLY WRONG, what is to stop a company from having an employee killed to get the insurance? I know the answer should be the Law as well as having a moral compass, but there are people who simply are self-interested.

  • Life insurance on executives, partners, and irreplacable employees is common practice and has been for many, many years. It can cost businesses a lot of money and time to replace and retrain these employees or business partners. I have done it before in a partnership and it was all in the open. It is not a crime. Quit picking on the job creators.

  • @bettjoer1 Thats not what this story is about. You're thinking of the insurance that Citigroup calls "Valuable Insured Employee". This is the life insurance for those individuals on top of the company. This story is about "Dead Peasants insurance." Two different things. One of them should be a clear crime.

  • @bettjoer1

you dont create jobs... market demands creates job...

  • All im hearing from you people is that corporations are bad this and corporations that. Did it ever dawn on any of you that the Unions are out to make money at your expence as well. heck corporations pay most of the taxes in america so they deserve breaks for providing the funds for government social programs

  • @TriColorMonk Corporations in fact pay less taxes then the middle class, but you can believe what need to believe in order to justify the system that allows companies to profit off of what they call "Dead Peasants".

  • @TriColorMonk That's simply an unadulterated LIE!!! Corporations simply do not pay the amount of taxes that they should. We have decreased the amount of taxes that corporations pay since 1950. Learn your business and economic history.

  • @ecalebw You are completely wrong. U.S. corporations are not only grossly over-taxed, they are grossly over-regulated. Those are two huge reasons for the huge unemployment numbers we have. Corporations are forced to transfer overseas to lower-tax environments like Ireland, Caymans, etc to get away from the ridiculous regulations and taxes. When you tax a corporate profit you hurt their workers (who must be paid less), and their shareholders who then get double taxed (often an employee)

  • @svvmichael1

    ur insane...

  • @CyberWolf23 Nope, I am correct. You have no defense but you make ad hominem attacks. Buh-bye now.

  • "It doesn't cost the employee anything." The employee doesn't pay the monthly premiums, so why should the surviving family expect a payout?

  • REPUBLICONS DESTROYED AMERICA IN 1929

  • @kn9ioutom FDR destroyed the US during his three term rule.

  • @kn9ioutom democrats are just as guilty as the right retard, and its spelled REPUPLICANS, be more open minded net time fuck-boy.

  • @jkyckhd69 Actually, fuck-boy yourself, it's spelled Republicans.

  • a lot of the corporations who support dead peasant life insurance are based out of israel. do the research.

  • Yeah sue everybody! Creepy? So what, no one got hurt. It is about time the insurance companies started paying out. If it pays the employer, who creates jobs and pays taxes, then stop crying over this.

  • @misterwipedown u r a sick, stupid muther fucker!

  • This works 3 ways.

First, your Birth Certificate is placed on the stock market to justify the debt ceiling.

Second, a corporation can open a life insurance policy on you.

Third, if you pass-on, the third party that intervened without consent can claim the benefits, as the main name is no longer alive to contest the non-consented contract.

  • When your city makes it's gravy money from your traffic violations, the last thing they want is for you to be better drivers. Instead they create a system of traps and a random tax. What do you think corperations will want if they get gravy money from your life insurance? What if the government gets in on the action? The only thing that will happen is your insurance will go up, but the incentive will not go down. Insurance has become a mass tax. All Im saying is: they don't love you.

  • We need more liberals commenting on my Ron Paul videos !

(Come over here and bash them so I can get more views)

  • Incredible, we must bet on the CEO and executives lives also

  • Back when life insurance was simple. It was just like health insurance, car insurance, or house insurance. You had a premium you paid monthly. If you ever you got sick, car broke down, or house burned down. The insurance would cover. They would cover because that was the policy you bought and pay for every month religiously when time use to be wonderful. Corporate America has fallen.

  • DISS MICHEAL MOORE ALL U WANT....HE GOT IT RIGHT ON THIS ONE...SO THAT MEANS ON 9/11 PEOPLE WHO DIED IN THAT BUILDING IF THEIR COMPANIES HAS LIFE INSURANCE ON THEM, THEY GOT PAID? IT IS WRONG TO GET RICH OFF OF SOMEONE'S DEATH BEHIND THEIR BACK

  • THANK U MICHEAL MOORE

  • Go capitolism! This is classic example of thugs taking advantage of their prey.

  • The whole thing is dumb. I don't see why the family should get the payout. I don't see why this should be legal either though. Creepy is pretty accurate.

  • ... 2nd post.....all leading western nations have "In-House|" Policies, to take out life ensurances, on the employees behalf. as stated in my former post, the family of the dead employee are than unlikely sued, by companies, who have been out of alot of money, caused by the dead husband (in this case). its not a bet, its a back up. companies have gone under for many reasons, and many have lost their workplace because of circumstances caused by ONE co-worker. moores take is, as always, missleading

  • BS! A employee should be ensured for as much money, as he can harm his employer with. 1.500,000.00 USD is a reasonable figure. e.g. an employee receives 2 weeks notice, and does not agree with being "fired" but cant legally do anything against it, may loose it, and blow up the building he and his employer is situated. NO insurance would cover the damage!!! ...but life insurance! so the company doesnt have to sue the wife of the disgruntled suicide employee.

  • Mind blowing...

  • this is cold blooded

  • "The only problem with capitalism is capitalists- they're too damned greedy."

    -Herbert Hoover

  • all more reason to get rid of the current tax system and place a fair tax systems such as national sales tax.

  • Now....suddenly liberals getting religious? or at least asking for some morality?? Really? THAT "stuns" me Ms. Shipman. NOW....that we've all agreed that the indecency and the lies and the corruptness from leaders on down to individual citizens; media; Hollywood is going to be no more 'acceptable' may we ask you just what person is going to actually decide for everyone what IS acceptable and decent and moral?????????????? See the problem? THis is a free country; your morals may not be ours.

  • Somehow I really don't think Claire Shipman was 'stunned.' After all, ABC News has no problem with NOT reporting factual news. WHo in their right mind uses Michael Moore as a fact guru?????? lol. Unbelievable stupidity from left sided media.

  • Individuals making immoral decisions??? Really? And people are stunned by this? lol. Have you NOT been watching our own President and administration officials; certain Union leaders, extremists on the right and extremists on the left........your elected 'progressives' in congress............need I reeeaaallly go on? Capitalism has NOTHING to do with individual actions and immoral deeds. I hear things just as bad as this coming from those in here who are "pretending" to be 'better.' Sad.

  • This is depravity and mendacity beyond measure-ABSOLUTELY F**KING DISGUSTING.

  • Wow, capitalism at its finest. Yet another way the rich can make money off of simply having lots of money.

  • Why do these people even care? They didn't pay for the premiums.

  • only a DUMB asshole can say that is expensive to replace a worker who dies. How expensive can it be? Just put an ad on a newspaper? is that expensive DUMB ASS???

  • "Key man insurance" is vital to companies. Replacing an employee who dies is very expensive. It's ridiculous to think that an employer would want to see their employees dead in order to collect life insurance.

You want to remove the incentive for companies to do this, stop taxing corporations and then they will not need the tax deduction. :-)

  • companies: don't insure your employees without letting them know about it and an opportunity to reject it.

loved ones of dead employees: by taking the insurance money from the employers you are doing nothing different than the employer. you are taking what is not yours. employers paid for the insurance, you didn't. companies invest in capital...that includes knowledge capital that employees own. period...greed works both ways here people.

  • I have two sisters who are overweight, can I take out life insurance policies on them without their permission, and thereby profit from their death?

  • So, using the same logic, I can look around my community and at my friends, and see which I think are the most self-destructive, and take out insurance policies on them without their knowledge? When the finally self-destruct, I get paid.

So, in a sense, I can't simply place bets the lives of people I know or people in the news, or self-destructive celebrities, and the insurance companies will pay off when they die. Is that RIGHT?!?

How is that any different from what we are seeing here?

  • The Land of the Thieves and the home of the Greed. I really feel bad for the USA people, It's beyond me how these big companies are so greedy and don't give a rat ass for the people who make their companies work.

  • Am I the only sane person watching this. I don't see a problem a company can insure all sorts of assets why not it's employees. It takes a lot of investment to higher a new long term employee especially if its a professional job. The company is paying the premiums so yea it gets the payout. Them having a policy doesn't prohibit the person from having their own.

"It's Creepy" isn't a legal justification for banning something only if it is doing actual harm to an individual, or their property

  • @Berelore okay, lets see if you react the same way when your wife dies and you unknowningly watch as you are scammed by her employer when they collect the life insurance and you recieve nothing for someone you loved.

  • @MCSkatee

I'm going to give you the opportunity to reread my comment again in the hopes that you figure out why your comment is a nonsensical unthinking emotional plea. I'll give you a hint, no one is scamming anyone.

  • It shouldn't surprise anyone, the USA corporations don't give a FUCK about their own people, they are worse than the Taliban and Al-qaeda together.

  • Most employers in construction have a hard time complying with safety issues with unions on their ass. This just helps the assholes wait it out. The money would easily be used against other workers. Don't support the rich. Let them get real jobs and earn an honest dollar for once.

  • Way to be professional ABC News, the staff can't even spell "employee"...

  • this is what indians doing since 7 years in USA

  • If the company payed for the insurance... of course they're the ones who are going to benefit? But there's something i don't understand here. If you could run a scheme of buying insurance for a big group of people and expect to profit off of it, that would mean the insurance company would lose money. Insurance companies in general obviously avoid that possibility, but what's different about insuring your employees that it would then be profitable? My guess is nothing, and this is just BS.

  • @eggory So can you take out a fire insurance policy on your neighbour? Of course not because you'd have cause to see it burn then.

  • @SirTimbo You could in theory, burn down a house you've insured and expect to profit, whether it's your house or someone else's, but as the owner of that insurance you would always be a prime suspect. That increased threat of being charged with fraud, or murder, rather complicates any such scheme. You do need the consent of the person you're insuring, too, which makes sense.

"Nobody's really being hurt, but it's so clearly creepy." - 2:45

I think this is what it comes down to. Nothing at all.

  • @eggory what is wrong with it is, it is done for a tax write off. That is to say, a tax exemption (or lope hole if one wishes) is being used in order to avoid paying taxes. The intent of the law was clearly to hedge against the loss of highly skilled or succesful upper managment, but the law was badly written and the companies are getting out of taxation by applying it to huge numbers of people

  • Like Claire Shipman doesn't want you dead.

  • These journalist are stupid. I can bet all the money in the world their "zionist" bosses have life insurance policies on them and when they dont play by the rules, the jews fire them and still keep that policy open. I hate modern journalism.

  • A CEO or VP and the like are more concerned about driving BMW's or Mercedes than employee being capable of providing for his or her family. We saw bank presidents taking Obamas bail out money and spending many thousands on a party to celebrate receiving the funds. These are individuals who receive million dolar salaries and they used the money of the taxpayers for a party. This is toal lack of social conscience.

  • I wondered why my former employers refused to address serious safety concerns that were killing and crippling, oh yeah, it is all about the money.

Michael Jackson: They don't care about you

George Carlin: They don't give a F--- about you!

  • @badattitude77769 Hello, please man... quoting words uttered by Michael Jackson is not really smart. Just though I should share some light into it... regards...

  • @CrippledKnight Okay, they do not care about you~Me

  • @badattitude77769 Lol, sadly, that statement is more accurate. Anyway, didn't mean to offend if I did bro. Hope you have a great day. Remember, the only way to beat this crap is to be more knowledgeable.

  • Would Jesus approve health care laws to take care the sick? Would Jesus approve the Hatred Speeches by the right wing?

  • I have known this for a long while, I think it is crpy and it should be illegal. I also think that the banefits should go to cmpny because they made the payments not the love one's. I agree that this abstly wrng. I think WALMART is the key player.

  • Yes it hurts people!!! It hurts families that have unpaid bills and debts outstanding and the employers that are doing this are exploitive scum sucking off the average Jane and John Public trying to support themselves and their family. Sweatshop mentality!!!

  • That's all they see you as, peasants.

  • the irony here is that it isnt private companies taking advantage (which they still are), but it was the government who created a shoddy piece of legislation that allowed it. those companies might not even get the tax breaks if it was for the families (which it should be). u cant blame businesses for making the most out of the situation. the government (and justice system) are the ones who should be responsible for this.

  • @nutman69 yes but the justification for this legislature to be put in place is because corporations interests are pushed through government, before moral interests are pushed through for the greater good, which is what i think moore is trying to change.

  • Politician: We rule you.

Rich businessman: We make money out of your misery.

    Religious leaders: We fool you.

Law enforcment: We stop you from changing the system.

Average worker: We work for all, we feed all.

  • @vava54own I like that post. says a lot

  • @vava54own

Average worker: Communist, according to other workers who don't want to change the system themselves.

  • @iwasborninomaha lmao..communism? the situation we see here was created, used and abused by the moneychangers (banks)..give me a break...We could use some good old fashioned socialism here in this nation..God knows..we need something....

  • @vava54own

    Michael Moore: I placate you.

Good politician: I can't do anything because nobody knows i exist.

Inventer: I hope someone appretiates my invention enough to pay me for it.

Tycoon: I make large scale operations possible. If i need you, i pay you.

Law enforcement: I am the will of the people - self destruction.

Religious leader: We should all think of the group, before our selves.

Average worker: I work hard enough to be entitled to your money.

  • @vava54own : Thats CAPITALISM!!
