we have set porcupine and stick beds on right on the main channel and never had them move. the problem with a brush pile is it catches to much current.
Nice info Travis just wondering how well those beds hold with undercurrent. I've put some winter beds in and put a lot of weight on them and they seem to move sometimes. Thinking about trying stick beds any luck with them?
@travisbunting I dont think we can do that in South Dakota, but that is really cool. Would you know if they would hold fish under the ice? I bet they would. I dont think many states around here allow things like that, we seem to have much more strict laws in general when it comes to fishing.

Most states allow setting fish attractors as long as there are not toxic materials.
You have to get permission ahead of time from some states.

We have gps points to go back and fish them. We have no reason to take themout of the water.
