We didn't get to pick the songs we played (the contest people did), and there was NO PRACTICE whatsoever - all done live and in front of TV cameras and several hundred people. One more thing, it was still a score competition, so any freestyle moves were done at the risk of losing the contest!
For "non noobs" it may look easy because its not some 300BPM MAX song on shuffle hidden- but you're mistaken. The HDTV was mounted too high in the air, and was suffering from serious timing display lag. The pads were not flattened properly and not set to dance play mode... (continued)
Your right cvnsynsin, His "S.P.D. Battlizer" costume was way much better then my old French Sentai,(PowerRanger) costume this year at AX2005 ! But The thing about this costume was #1. the Helmet smelled bad inside, #2. Ever time he tried to take his helmet off there was always a person wanting to take his picture, poor guy he basicly had to fight his way for 2 hours just to get to his hotel room at the Marriott just to get a break !
#3. Also the really bad thing about his costume, was the fact that the armor was really heavy, and when he took off his costume he said that he had 2 purple marks on booth his sholders & he was in a little pain from it ! Well I do remember the there was 3 Rangers this, & I'm the 4th !
