i pretty much explained in pretty good detail, but basicly hes playing a d sus2, and the reason is so u can keep the 2nd finger on the 2nd fret b string so u can do the riff like on keyboard.

o btw guys...i founds a gr8 setting, im using a vox ad15vt-xl, if u have it, set it to thrashed, use rythm pickup, i have a epi plus top, and turn on chorus delay, gives a gr8 gr8 sound for skynyrd.

k, the ending at the very end, where i go down the e string is right, but if u want it to sound better, and cooler try this:at the end, right after all those 14s on the e, bend the 19th the do a really slow trill with the 17th, then go down to the 17th on the b, bend it, realese then to the 14, back to 17, then 15, 14, trill with 14,15, then 12, trill with 12, 14, then 10, then slower go, 14, 12, 10 to finish it, thts an 'a' btw. the key its in. slow it down at the end
