That isnt true. You are conflating. It is now time for Christians to stop being sloppy with the scriptures. Jesus is coming for a glorious Bride, without spot or wrinkle. Sloppy theology has no room in that.

This video isnt a prophet speaking a prophecy. The title clearly gives the impression it is. If everything spoken about Jesus is prophecy then there is no such thing as a teacher. All would be prophets. But the scripture clearly says there are teachers

Being Born Again means your spirit has been made alive by the presence of Holy Spirit living inside you when you repented of your sins, having God's heart for your sin and renouncing sin and turning from it, and putting your complete faith and trust in Christ and what He did on the cross for your sin . You pray a prayer and make sure that as you pray, you tell God you repent for your sin & abhore it. Ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior

There is no amount of human effort you can do to ever meet His standards. Think of it like this. A demon possessed person doesn't strive to manifest like a demon inside of them. They just do. It helps to fast & pray when you are doing this so you can hear Him when He shows you things. You have to quiet yourself and listen to His still small voice.

Satan isn't going to talk to you about your stuff. If Holy Spirit reveals something you didn't know was there, you aren't making it up, cuz you didn't know it was there.

John was saying that you can be saved and not be a part of the Bride. I have heard this teaching before and believe it to be the case. Though the Lord hasn't shown me without a doubt. So I am not dogmatic about it. It fits in the scripture. Though it is upsetting. If the Lord is doing the upsetting then it is a good thing. At any rate that's what I believe he was saying.

Thank you daughterofking...I'm still wondering if he was talking about just not being Christ's "bride" but it seems as if he was saying the Lord would straight up reject him...like he was not saved. But isn't ALL our sins under the blood of Christ?! This is why I'm troubled.../= I need to reexamine my heart, it's more deceitful then I thought. Scary that we might make the Holy Spirit into something its not & we say it is! If he has the spirit in him, wouldn't he be saved? Not rejected?

@kristenwood123 Hi Kristen, John had made Jesus His Savior, being born again. His sins are forgiven. But he Has the Holy Spirit inside of Him and His life, His salvation which he is to work out amd it is God who is at work in him to will and to do His good pleasure. However, the enemy came in and deceived John and was causing him to go back to his human life, & human ways. God was not pleased. Jesus loved Him and was grieved by his behavior, but He had to address it so John could see it.

I used to have the same problem with accepting this kind of messages because I would feel anxious about whether I am saved.But the Lord revealed to me that I should look for security by looking for Himself, instead of focusing on whether I am saved.Our Lord is good and He will reveal everything to us in His time.Just look for His face with all your heart!

I have always been taught there is a Bride for the Lamb, but there are guests at the wedding also. Jesus said to John Mulinde that he would not be in the bride. John would strike me as one "to whom much has been given," and therefore much is required of him. I desire to be in the Bride, as one who loves Him passionately. What I got from this message is - it's not any sinful "event" per se, in your life, but it's your "bent" that God is looking at. Are you a disciple?

DonJay, you have a good point. I don't think I can fully understand this either. However, the way I understood is that, it is true that God embraces our weakness and redeems our weakeness. But to truly accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, it requires 100% repentance and obedience from us. It's not asking us to become legalistic because Jesus doesn't require perfection from us, but require an obedient heart that turns 180 degree from sin to Him.

Even though i can't harmonize Mike Bickle's introduction with the vision John shares, i have heard enough of the Holy Spirit to make personal changes. As I said before, If John was told by the Lord that He woudlnt be accepted if He came, that means He was not saved and needs to be born again. It doesnt mean he was just falling short and the Lord had more to show him (as Mike said in the intro)

@DonJay777 The churces Jesus talked about in Revelations 2 and 3 were born again saved believers right? Yet, He told the Laodiceans " I councel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich, and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothes, and that the shame of the nakedness does not appear". Also, check out 1 corinthians 3:12-15. I think Mike meant to say that John was known to be fervent for the things of the Lord or so it seems outwardly. :)

I am trying to understand this message, but if the Lord told him "he wouldnt be accepted if he came" that means that He wasnt actually saved. that means he needs to be born again. Your either a christian or your not, you cant be a "christian who doesnt make it into heaven" there is no such thing. I'm not saying we don't need to all seriously examine our lives and our thoughts, but our acceptance from God is not based on how good of a life we live. I must be missing something.

@DonJay777 DonJay it sounds as if he went thru the motions of savation but got caught up on his gifts. He failed to realize that he should have focused on his private life and walking in obedience in his private life. Being a musican myself i've seen where Pastors and leaders in the church get caught up on the gift and not their everyday walk. According to scripture we all are in a sanctafication process. It sounds to me as if he never understood that principle.

@ptregan1 The scripture does not clearly say that in any one place so please forgive me for not being clear. No where in the bible is the term, "Bride of Christ" ever used. We make inferences when we use that term. By studying the various scriptures related to the wedding of the lamb, most conclude that there is a bride for Christ. Many say the bride is the church, however, we must be careful how we define church. This is a topic of controversy so please study it out for yourself.

Honestly this is the best sermon I've ever heard. I am crying because this speaks directly to me that God knows every intention & imagination of our hearts. It is better to examine ourselves with the word now. Some of those things that god convicts the preacher of we see them in movies, hear them in songs. I never want to hear the words that "I never knew you."
