I'm kind of excited though i'm sort of not because it will probably be twice as expensive as the most recent gen was i'm scared to imagine the price of the system let alone of the games that will come out (i remember playstation 1 games were like 20$ a piece that's certainly changed a lot playstation 2 on release was 200$ i think? ps3 was like what 600$?)

e3 2012 will be about ps vita and ps3 for sony. but i think sony might hint at their next console and at e3 2013 they will reveal it for the first time, then at e3 2014 sony will have a playable version and will announce their launch titles, release date,and price. in mid to late 2014 sony will launch their next console, and then the war begins. this is also what i think will happen. xbox-2013 and playstation-2014

i know one thing sony is gonna ride the ps3 money train for about 2 more years until the next ps console comes out. with the 160gb ps3 only $249 now and the ps vita coming out next year. there is no rush for sony to put out another console right now. also the psp came out in 2004, which was a hint at the ps3 in some form, and the ps3 came out 2 years later. so i predict that the ps vita will be a peek at what somy's next console will be like. and sony will probably launch it 2014
