What i appreciate about the hotel is the fact that its on the sea and has the great feeling about the seaside and the fact that helicopters can land at the top...

it costed about 580 Dirhams (about 160 US dollars) EACH PERSON and the food did not taste that great either...If you want to observe dubai, go to the Jumeirah Beach Hotel at level 25, but just to warn you that you will not be able to take pictures or film the observatory at night because the light from inside reflects from the window into the camera lens, and blinds the picture or video from the observatory.

from my experience, you can only appreciate it by the view of it. the holiday rep told us that the hotel does NOT go below sea level. i have been inside and let me warn you...you have to pay to even enter the 7-star hotel. and when we got in, the person at the front of the hotel said that you are only allowed to go to the top of the hotel to observe dubai in the afternoon. all we could really do in there was to have a buffet in there and another warning...it is VERY expensive in there!
