  • DTB is best wrestling.

  • bruiser has been beating up race when race tagged with henning in the early 60's, but bruiser beat everyone up. race took some real bad beatings from bruiser and crusher. he was always busted up. also race gave what he took .

  • URBAN MEYER Hated by hitler...PLEASE WATCH IT.

  • man this one of those videos priceless, lucky man to have this great piece of history ,thumbs up

  • watched because I grew up watching these two on a show called Wrestling at the Chase. I liked Brody but the Bruiser never satisfied my eyeballs much. I also liked watching Race, Flair and the Von Erichs. I think Brody's style would definitely hold up today or at least in Japan.

Punching is fine but give us some moves, holds and counters.

  • Grew up on these guys but they did WAY too much punching and not enough WRESTLING! That's why Flair was a breath of fresh air succeeding Race who I did enjoy but who won WAY too much. Dick the Bruiser always lost NWA title bouts. All he did was just brawl brawl brawl when i'd see em in St. Louis. Got tired of 'em! Loved when the Von Erich's emerged against Race and Flair.

  • @PureImpact4life Why did you continue to watch then? This was classic wrestling, better than the stuff today. Sam Mushnick was the best promoter ever.

  • This was filmed at the old Kiel Auditorium In St. Louis. The Referee is Charlie Venater. I was at that match.

  • Bruiser had a way of making it look real. Watching it now decades later it still looks like two guys working stiff with each other.

  • now thats good wrestlin no weapons they just mixed it up

  • I remember the house shows were the BIG event, you actually had to go there to see them wrestle. Thanks bunches for the post, it's rare to see clips like this, no sound or not, just gives you goosebumps!

  • You don't see Harley getting manhandled too often.

  • August of 1978 in Kiel Auditorium in St.Louis. Remember all 3 fall as if it were yesterday.

  • thanks for this great post!
