    Gjergj K risht Dardania

  • R.I.P.

  • If Mother Teresa wanted to be buried with an Albanian flag or in Albania she would have said so before her death as she knew that she was going to die because she was old and I am pretty sure the Indian people would have done just that.

  • Elton John re-wrote 'Candle in the Wind' for mother Teresa, he called it 'Sandals in the Bin.'

  • wow this was the year i was born

  • are these indian catholics?

  • india is secular nation....18 major religions including Christianity...

  • Their are Catholics in India yes.

  • After communism collapsed she use to come to Albania every other month.

She loved being among her people.

  • indian.albanian, this and that whats going on in here... she was juss helping the world... leave her alone..

  • she is Albanian not Indian.........her name is Gonxhe Bojaxhi, and she born on Shkupè...................mOTHER Teresa said:by the blood i am Albanian!

  • it should be an albanian flag

  • Yeah,

It really should be? Because she REALLY did do a lot for the albanians? Wow!

    IGNORANCE IS BLISS!

  • Really honey, being born in Skopje is nothing to brag about. Her blood was Albanian & purely it was. Anyways she is a saint that contributed so much to society. That is all that matters, but Macedonians have nothing to fo with her.

  • Dont u think its better to put the flag of a country with 1 BILLION people than a country with 3 million?

  • Can you tell me why she thought it was better to serve to a nation with 1 billion people, when she can easily serve than to a nation with 3 million people?

  • It's better to put the flag of her nationality.... she was Albanian, nothing to do with a country's population.

  • That's not really the point.

  • Ey you stupid indians.

    She is Albanian you understand.

An pass never change your real nationality.

Stupid indians they even say jesus was from India.lol hahhahahahhaha

  • Whatever it is, we all loved her so much irrespective of race/religion that is why we put our national flag. This is a usual custom in India for highly respected individuals. Rather than considering this as a derogatory move please consider it as a respect of our whole nation. These fighting makes you look ugly.

For your ignorance, Indians never claimed Jesus was born in India. Some people say he came to India in his teenage to learn things. Answer where else was Jesus in his teenage?

  • "By blood, I am Albanian. By citizenship, an Indian. By faith, I am a Catholic nun. As to my calling, I belong to the world. As by my heart, I belong entirely to the Heart of Jesus."

    stop stupid arguing.

  • well said sister...only you could have said that here and make a differnce among ignorant souls

  • she isent indian she is albania

here albanian name is gonxhe bojaxhiu

she was born in the albanian side of macedonia

  • You are both right and wrong. She is born Albanian but is Indian citizen. She holds Indian passport and received Nobel peace prize as Indian citizen. Keeping this aside, whats more important is that she served mankind and helped the needy.

  • Actually, you are wrong.

Her backround is alabanian. She was born in MACEDONIA, not the 'albanian side of macedonia'

honestly. stop being so damn selfish, she was a saint!

  • Mother you will be missed and we still love you
