Brilliant site, thanks for all these great compilations, I can't imagine how much time and effort you put into it, your have my respect and gratitude sir! Well done.
Let me just comment on the technical aspects of doing these YouTube postings. They are perfect! Great album covers and perfect injection into the "meat" of the songs! Way to capture the essence of the song!
@heartofgoldmary I did not forget them. I just didn't have room for them. There are so many great songs from the 60s, and using just two songs per year, it is impossible to fit everyone in there. The obvious choice for the Who would be My Generation from 1965, but that would mean leaving out the Satisfaction or Like a RS. My Generation was a killer track, but I felt that those songs by Bob Dylan and the Stones were slightly more significant, and even more people would complain if I left them off
@XZYOE I tried, but Youtube gives you a limit on how many words can fit in the video description, and the list was too long. If you'd like, I can put sections of the list with each video.
You pretty much nailed it my friend, I really enjoyed watching your choices. I normally doen't like anything condensed because I'm so selfish I want to hear or read it all but your video completely kept my attention. Thanks for sharing.
@SalmonelaKid I'm a huge Beatles fan and I had a really hard time leaving Sgt. Pepper off this video, particularly A Day in the Life. I went with two songs per year and 1967 was probably the toughest year to narrow it down to two. Respect is one of those all time great soul anthems and I really really didn't wan't to completely exclude Jimi Hendrix. I already had two Beatles songs so I decided to leave Day in the Life off at the last minute.
Freakin Awesome!!!!!!!!

What about Sgt Pepper, that one was fucking monumental, it changed people's perception of rock music!!
