Do it the boolprop way or do it the "real" way, by having your sim go to a downtown community lot at NIGHT, and wait. After a while a grand vampire should show up (They lurk around with their cape over their face, and their skin is bluish, hard to miss), then your sim just has to befriend him/her until the bite is available in the kiss menu.

Oh, and you need Nightlife :)

to get a werewolf u have to get pets and when a black dog w/ yellow eyes come ignore the stray dog and it will bite u vampire night life have a vampire move into ur house or use the cheat boolprop testingCheatsEnabled true and alien make ur sim stargaze for a loooooonggggggg time

you need nightlife expansion. when u get it you go shoping or partying or somthin at night. you will see vampire people walking at night over the mauls and stuff... so just meet em, get good relationships with em and one lucky day they'll sudenly bite you... and now you ahve a vampire sim :D

Yes, i found most of my Grand vampires in the Dah' Javu Art museum. there was always one for me when i went there.And The opposite gender is better so you can get a better relationship.
