  • You make it look so easy. Thanks! I would love to see some other methods to create the altered dominoes and scrabble tiles as well. I'm a rookie crafter too, so included with the video, I'd also love to see how to add the bail or pin back or magnets, and even how to seal them properly. I have a lot of half finished projects because I'm just not sure how to proceed. I also would love to learn how to add images to flat backed marbles and make magnets out if them. Again, I've made a bunch but have

  • great, thanks 4 giving me new ideas!!!!

  • I started making domino pendants and playing with alcohol inks around March of this year (2008) and how I WISH that I would have had your video to look at then! They are easy, but it's always comforting to see some one else do it first!

You do a wonderful job of showing how fun and beautiful these can be. Wow, having that gorgeous stamp helps too! =cD ..oh, and the very beautiful accent, if you don't mind me saying!

    Thanks for sharing!

  • Oh gosh, thanks so much for the lovely comment!

  • I do have one question about the domino. Do you have to sand it at all before you put the inks on it? Also, do I use any kind of Staz On ink? I guess what I am asking is is there different kinds of Staz On (alcohol, pigment)? I loved your video and I so want to do some of these fun domino pendants for gifts.

  • Thanks so much for you comments & questions! You don't need to sand your domino before applying the alcohol inks. The ink dries pretty quickly, then you can stamp. Stayz On is the brand name of the inkpad I use & it is a solvent ink. I sometimes will heat set the stamped image, just to make sure it's dry before I seal it :) I hope that helps you out!

  • Hey there, I just got most of my supplies for the project. Since I have been stamping for years now I have tons of stamps, chalks and other things to make the project fun. I just had to get the little stamper with the handle and pads and then some Aderondak inks. Wish me luck. I will have to make a video of them when I finish learning the ropes and playing around with them.

  • awesome tutorial! i think even i can do it....which is saying something! i do hav a question....where did you get that stamp?? its beautiful!

  • I was wondering if you have any substitutes for colouring the background of the dominos?

also do you know if you could make a step by step tutorial on how to make the necklaces and bracelets?

    Thank so much,

    Layla
