wikipedia: John Paxson took a pass from Horace Grant and buried a three pointer with 3.9 seconds left, giving the Bulls a 99-98 lead. Paxson's three-point field goal was the only score by any Bulls player other than Michael Jordan in the entire fourth quarter. The victory was secured by a last-second block from Horace Grant on Kevin Johnson.
@XteNNzz Hahahaha That's funny, Dwight is not even half the defensive threat down on the low block as Mutombo was in his prime and Jordan slammed on him with ease. Didn't kobe slam on a young Dwight Howard? If kobe can do it, you bet your ass the GOAT would go over, around and through Howard. As for Lebron stopping Jordan? Hahahahaha don't make me laugh. He couldn't even stop Dirk if he tried let alone the GOAT.
man , dumas was ahead of his time, he looks like a player from 2010- not 1993 ! his body and skill set look like durant, or rudy gay- that tall and graceful. pity about his problems- coudl have been an allstar.
son, sick moves. diegoris23 I really like the end =) Can you believe I finally worked hard enough to begin dunking! I just used the a real workout plan at 50 inch vertical (dot) com and did it in just 6 weeks
@MichRockHop81108 I ADMIT IT WAS CLUTCH...BUT NOT THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME...WOULD HAVE HAD TO BEEN A GAME 7 FOR THAT BUDDY...GREATEST SHOT OF ALL TIME YOU ASK???....I DONT REALLY THINK THERE IS JUST ONE...THERES A CLUTCH SITUATION EVERY FINALS.
@MichRockHop81108 No, you're right, its a really good story..has to feel amazing to hit a shot like that...one of my dreams growing up was to hit a buzzer beater...sadly it never came to fruition..lmao..but fuck it its fun to watch them on here and relive the moment.
@MrSlik25 Ive got most of the championships on dvd and the thing I notice about most of them is that it's really savvy that allows the confidence on the shot and which ever team is savvier...Like. especially knicks rockets game 7. All the bulls championships. Detroit's championship runs. 89-90 + 04. And I like watching every championship, they all look good to watch. But the nba this year looks really soft and stupid. A lot of just standing there. Do you agree?
@MichRockHop81108 The NBA lost its competitiveness after the 04' finals when Detroit won it...it just hasnt been the same since..the 2010 Finals were pretty exciting though i have to admit...but the NBA is nothing like it was from day one up through the Kobe & Shaq era...it has suffered because of teams giving Class A money to Class B players.
@MrSlik25 yeah but, why do you think the style has changed so much? Literally guys just stand around, no one MOVES like they used to. Thats what I notice the most is the MOVEMENT is just so lazy and boring. AND MY MOST IMPORTANT POINT- When I watch the old series' I'm IMPRESSED with things that I see, I'm NOT impressed really at ALL with anything in the NBA today.
@MichRockHop81108 Well i feel theres a couple reasons...One, the way the refs call the game...and two, the fact that most guys on the court have millions of dollars in the bank...10, 20 years ago..guys were out there working for the money and the playing time to feed their families....and they actually needed those extra playoff checks...so the hustle was different...these guys today dont care because the check has cleared already.
@MrSlik25 Yeah you're right. Same with baseball. The only reason that port was formed is because people had nothing better to do, nor the money. It doesn't make sense to idolize them if they aren't desperate, let along what they are which is fine for life. no one cares. Also MJ kind of helped ruin it without meaning to by creating the superman buzz.
@MichRockHop81108 I kind of understand you about the Jordan thing...but All he did was make me a basketball fan for the rest of my life...so i always tip my hat to him...i dont think he did anything bad for the game on purpose or accidental...He is literally larger than life when he's on that floor...and he made the world love the sport...not just USA...and i think baseball hasnt been fun since the Braves and Pirates in 91 and 92...When the twins won it with Morris and Puckett!!!! Legends man.
what scottie pippen did in n.3!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smartest player EVER!!! And obviusly the fearsless MJ in n. 5 taking that shot versus 5 players... AMAZING!!!!
Number 5 is just the definition of LEGENDARY. How the hell can you even think about taking a shot like that in the NBA with Barkleys and Majerles around you ??????????............Unbelievable....
Barkley averaged 27 PPG, 13.4 RPG and 5.5 APG in the Finals Series with an injured elbow. Great All Around Game by a PF against a Prime Jordan, Pippen and Grant
MJ completely murked the Suns averaging 41 ppg he had 4 straight games with at least 40 points thats ill bruh so sick & he had a 55 point game, & Charles Barkley Murked Scottie Pippen bigtime man he was lighting Pippens ass up he was giving him bickets from all over Barkley was great
these were the best days of the nba..when the nba was broadcasted on nbc..when marv albert ruled all the commentators..when michael jordan dominated every team in the league..man i miss those days
