those rankings is its based off what they did in the past. Which needs to be accounted for, but alot of their wins dont hold water now. Take Barnett he was for sure top 5 for a long time. but based off what he's done recently, his last 2 fights were total no names, and Yvel, Monson, n RIzzo are washed up. Their old too, so they cant expose his holes. Their like Randy Couture imo, none of them can stand in the modern HW rankings, they're there bcuz of past wins, i dont subsribe to that ranking

Wanderlei beat Jackson twice in Pride. He had some serious nose and rib injuries in the fights he lost.

This isn't 2005? Actually no it's not. There are way less quality fighters now. Minatoro is still ranked 3rd in the world, 2nd now brock is sick. He is the only one outside of brock who really would have any chance against fedor with a lucky kick to the face or leg submission (no one would ever catch fedors arms.) the longer this fight drags out the more at favors lesnar who is still in his prime whereas fedor is closer to the end than the beggining lesnar's speed would be too much for fedor his open arm stance would not work like i said if this fight happens in 18 months or so which is probably the earliest it can happen then forget it fedor would stand no chance

Fedor would be MMA fans last hope to show how skill beats brute strength. Unfortunately for those fans, a healthy Lesnar = a destroyed Fedor. Lesnar has enough talent, speed and hulkish strength, and size to seal a victory against Fedor.
I'd love to see Fedor win, but he gives up too much weight against a very impressive opponent. The odds are against Fedor and Fedor knows it. That's why the weren't going to reasonably negotiate, it's worth more for Fedor not to get his ass kicked.
