The funny thing that they reveal in the official guide is that Lauren Cohan is American, not British. I think she actually has the accent (why else would she do an interview with it) but they had to make sure she acted like she was from England and notlet to many American-isms slip into her acting.

Really its not the new girl its just that the lines that they gave her arent bitchy enough for ruby. Personally I like the new ruby, I guess they just changed the actress cause they couldn't really see katie cassidy, ruby having doing the horizontal monster mash (lol futurama) with sam in IKWYDLS. They way they made the old ruby seemed like she just thought he was dumb rather than attracted. And i like the kind of sexual relationship they share. It give the story a little more of a twist! :)

I used to hate them both Bela and Ruby but now they're growing on me. I like Ruby because she is a demon (therefore she is not really a love interest for either of the boys) and I hate and like Bela at the same time. Bela is a b*tch because she keeps on screwing things up for Dean and Sam. At the same time, I like her for that. With all respect and love to the Winchester boys, they're guys, and it's awsome how Bela keeps outsmarting them... girlpower all the way.
Luv their new caracters on the show. I like specially Ruby cuz she has great scenes with Dean. It is so funny and they match perfectly. Ruby seems kinda more like the type of girl of Sam. I hope they stay a lot of episodes on the show. They make the episodes much more entertaining and fun to watch.
They both seem pretty cool. Katie seemed to do a lot of talking, but I think she was nervous. Some people, I am also guilty of this, just babble on when their nervous. Then later it was like a blackout and you're like, um, I said what when talking on television. Lauren definitely seems cool and I like her character, and Ruby's interesting. Cmon guys! Have faith in Krike! He won't let us down!
supernatural is a show about two brothers that drive around the countryside in a 67 impala (hottest car ever) fighting demons and ghosts and basically real urban legends, like bloody mary and the hookman etc. Also their mother was killed so they start out looking or the thing that killed her and it progresses from there...I wont say naymore because you have to watch it...its a brilliant show! and the guys are incredibly easy on the eyes.
the day after i had posted this comment there was the first episode of the first season( that's weird)!! it's so cool! i cant wait for the next episode!
I'm somewhat surprised, but I really do like the two new cast members. I haven't cared for most of the female roles in the past, but I do see these characters as having quite a bit of potential. I look forward to seeing how they develop as the season continues. :)
Ok, Lauren can't even get a word in. Katie seems to be trying a little to hard to promote herself and not the actual show. Not warming up to her or her character at all. Lauren seems more relaxed about the whole thing.

and after her scene with sam in "i know what you did last summer" i dislike her even more because she has no chemistry with jared padalecki and she can't pull off ruby as well as katie cassidy did, or even that other blond girl in the beginning of IKWYDLS

Really its not the new girl its just that the lines that they gave her arent bitchy enough for ruby. Personally I like the new ruby, I guess they just changed the actress cause they couldn't really see katie cassidy, ruby having doing the horizontal monster mash (lol futurama) with sam in IKWYDLS. They way they made the old ruby seemed like she just thought he was dumb rather than attracted. And i like the kind of sexual relationship they share. It give the story a little more of a twist! :)

i'm glad that kripke and the writers didn't make the girls into the 'four of them hopping into the impala and driving around together.'
i loved how they portrayed bela who is human and was able to be as sly as the winchesters. so far it had only been demons that were able to mess with them that much.
but i thought ruby should be returning, since she was the one who wanted to help sam find out about mary and her past.

I used to hate them both Bela and Ruby but now they're growing on me. I like Ruby because she is a demon (therefore she is not really a love interest for either of the boys) and I hate and like Bela at the same time. Bela is a b*tch because she keeps on screwing things up for Dean and Sam. At the same time, I like her for that. With all respect and love to the Winchester boys, they're guys, and it's awsome how Bela keeps outsmarting them... girlpower all the way.

Luv their new caracters on the show. I like specially Ruby cuz she has great scenes with Dean. It is so funny and they match perfectly. Ruby seems kinda more like the type of girl of Sam. I hope they stay a lot of episodes on the show. They make the episodes much more entertaining and fun to watch.

They both seem pretty cool. Katie seemed to do a lot of talking, but I think she was nervous. Some people, I am also guilty of this, just babble on when their nervous. Then later it was like a blackout and you're like, um, I said what when talking on television. Lauren definitely seems cool and I like her character, and Ruby's interesting. Cmon guys! Have faith in Krike! He won't let us down!

supernatural is a show about two brothers that drive around the countryside in a 67 impala (hottest car ever) fighting demons and ghosts and basically real urban legends, like bloody mary and the hookman etc. Also their mother was killed so they start out looking or the thing that killed her and it progresses from there...I wont say naymore because you have to watch it...its a brilliant show! and the guys are incredibly easy on the eyes.

I'm somewhat surprised, but I really do like the two new cast members. I haven't cared for most of the female roles in the past, but I do see these characters as having quite a bit of potential. I look forward to seeing how they develop as the season continues. :)

Ok, Lauren can't even get a word in. Katie seems to be trying a little to hard to promote herself and not the actual show. Not warming up to her or her character at all. Lauren seems more relaxed about the whole thing.

it doesn't matter what the actress is like as long as she delivers on the show. Which most people agree now (after the 2nd epiode)...she has so far. You obviously disagree which is fine...that's your opinion. I mean....no offence to Lauren but you haven't even seen her character yet and your already predicting a long future for her on the show.
But....I do hope Lauren stays on the show longer because I just LOVE girl with an accent. ;)

Katie does not talk alot. YOu can obviously see that the video is edited. they probably edited it Lauren out. if you watch other Supernatural interviews, you will see that Katie does not talk a lot.

because there's too much testosterone in the show. Jensen and Jared are cool and everything but...I need some girl power dude. All the gals on the show either die or disappear really fast. Just so damn annoying. Hopefully, Katie's and Lauren's character will have a greater longevity to the show.

I don't mind them at all but I do kind of like Lauren a little more because I just LOVE girls that speak with an accent
