This is something I have felt and believed for a long, long time -- but I have been unable to express it because of my color. on the issue of African slavery one thing that is pretty much never talked about from black intellectuals, is the Arab slave trade , they ran a close 2nd to brutality to African slaves in comparision to europeans . now there was a difference in regards to the offspring of slave women. Arab slave owners would acknowledged the offspring as his children. Where in North America slave owners did not. and Arabs did not bring Africans to a new Continent.
