prisons are filled becuase little babies are born into homes where they are given no love or compassion and they grow up to hate, and commit crimes to get what they want. they need to learn love and compassion, not cruelty and punishment!

the root of crime is in society, and how we judge and condemn one another instead of having mercy and compassion on one another.

Besides I don’t believe anyone who is a non violent drug offender should have to serve one day in a prison simply because it has been proven to take small time offenders and turn them into big time criminals that hate society. Addiction is a disease not a crime.

I hate to say it but the inmate is right it is society. When a kid is growing up and sees his mother and father work their asses off in a dead end job in misery without anything and then goes out onto the streets and meets drug dealers and pimp that got all the thing that they want out of life its hard to turn away from
