  • ok so if these guys recorded this in 1971 and Sabbath did it in 1969........hmmmmm

  • @Underleaf76 Do your homework, their manager suggested they do some songs by friend, who happened to be Norman, and the result were those early recordings. All 3 of those songs were Haines' numbers

  • den of iniqity was recorded in 1971 at abbey road studios in the spring

  • didn't know BS covered this song

  • Oh?? this is killer lp? of British band of Norman Haines Band.Their album "Den of Iniquity"has gone on to become one of the most sought after collector`s item of the progressive area. From 1971 original in Parlophone records U.k

  • The bands name was actually Sacrifice, Norman only found out about the name change when he saw it in the record shop window. Apparently EMI got cold feet about the name. For some reason they also released a track from the album under the name "Avalanche". Again, Norman had no idea.....

  • that has got to be the best, worst band name in rock history, well not including Queen, although they were just the worst over rated act in pop history??

  • Excellent, nice heavy just the way I like it! Cheers for posting

  • The guitar tone here is crazy. When was it recorded?

  • @datagenerale I thought it sounded odd, thanks for setting me straight.

  • @Durandal1717 It's cool sound though man, tryin' to get my keysmen to do it, but he's more of a synth.

  • This sounds like a midi Haha

  • @WarningRules: You must have a REALLY good soundfont by default. As a Windows user, I know the default one provided barely resembles the instruments they're intended to simulate...

  • Cool to see where the Sab version came from. Cover art on the album is awesome, looks like something Slayer would use.
