We're all here for the same reason lol I just pulled my hamstring during a soccer game I'm a forward and had a nice break away for the chance to tie the game while on a full sprint out of nowhere I felt the sharp pain down my right hamstring I tried to keep running but the pain was overwhelming and now can barely walk so far I've been icing the hell out of it
I have a question for anyone, i went to the doctors this week and he said i pulled my hamstring but did not give me a brace or crutches just to keep icing and taking advil( which is wat i have been doing but hasnt helped yet). If anyone could give me their opinion on wat to do it hurts really bad and i just want it to go away. Thx p.s i have pulled my hamstring once before and im only 12
same here dude i pulled my hamstring while playing football in the sec quarter and decided to finish the game i had a grade to were it was brused the acually tore and now im in basketball and the ice i think is jst naking it worst and the bad thing is rehab hurts like hell and i have to do track cause of districts our school won district last year so i have to do hurdles please pray for me im so nerveous

@lexe2609 there a bitch to heal mate. i had pain for 4 days after a track session, it healed enough for me to go to another track session but then i stuffed it again. ice it and get some protien into you to heal up the muscle
I pulled my biceps femoris, grade 2, ive rested for 2 weeks but when i straighten it out i hear a little pop. can anyone tell me if this is gonna go away

I just hope I can take care of it because those Grade 2-3's look very scary to me and Im not talking so much about the pain. But at the idea that all the training I spent on last semester would have been for nothing and because this is my last year ever in Track and Field at the college level.
@DrakeBrunette good luck with that....educate yourself as much as possible on the topic....when i used to play basketball i wss training to dunk and although i read up on it, i 'jumped' in way to deep and have suffered for ages because of it.

@iiix808xiii same and my flexibility is at its peak . My squats were affects . They literally went down from 210 to 190 im 5'3 140lbs 14%bf or so. based on my rep scheme i should have been able to do at least 3 repititions . I was even using the strap this time. I always go deep. I began going down and my leg completely failed when going down then my other one because of the wieght.
my deadlifts were affected. Im still pulling through its pretty depressing when you see your numbers go down.
When I was at dance, I did a full split and I pulled a hamstring. It was level 2 . I can run now! But when I pulled it I couldn't even walk! But God took care of me and now I am dancing again. But I can't do my full split anymore. It is still sore. =(
@jkl9093 i havent been lucky with injuries but i tore muscles in my neck when i was bout 13 after messing about with a mate he landed on the top of my head when i was lookin towards the floor was in a collar for 6 weekshated not bein able to turn me head one way or the other but didnt think it was as painful as my hamstring. Prob cause i was in a collar but i know that my leg was in a bad way even when it was being rested.
I have a injury on the back of my leg not sure weither its hamstring or not, back of leg feels tight and find it hard to fully lock my leg out, it feels a bit swollen aswell?

The recovery process takes a long time
luckily i have about 3 months to get back in tip top shape for baseball season
