  • Not bad but English people speak with an English accent, not British... British includes Irish, Welsh, English, Scottish, it is not the same accent by a long way. You mean English. There is no such thing as a British accent, per se. Scottish accent is British, so is Welsh accent but they are totally different to each other.

  • @philblah okkkkkk.

  • This is a Scottish accent, not Australian! You're American? Really! Never would have guessed. If you want to get it right, come visit (West) Australia

  • @RyanLye1975 thats my dream!

  • @DearMyRachel Your dream is to visit (West) Australia? Sure, it's big, but there's not much to do there. Come visit the eastern states instead.

  • @t3hpyr0x I pretty much want to go everywhere Australia :)!

  • Yuuum, American girl's are hot as. Most guys here dnt know just how well just the Aussie accent works for picking up overseas

  • @GT18OY lol they really do

  • @DearMyRachel Well, come on down under :P

  • The "aye"s sounded good at least?

  • @hobosocks lol, if in trouble, just add an aye on the end of a sentence. I'm right aye? lol

  • I am sorry,but you sounded like a kiwi,and maybe a bit of scottish.Mate a barbie is a BBQ haha

  • The only part that distinguishes you as American is how you say Australia, apart from that you sound British

  • you sound kiwi a bit ahahh x

  • you sound kinda kiwi not australian haha

  • Did you mean, we don't say put a shrimp on the barbie? Lol cos we don't say that, cos here it's not shrimp it's a prawn

  • Lol I'm aussie, we rarely say g'day, mate ect. Aha that sounded british or kiwi not at all australian

  • Hahaha I'm Aussie :)

  • Barbie mean barbecue and you're right I've never said "crikey" in my life. Or mate or g'day for that matter.....

  • Yeah kind of sounded Kiwi/South African. Little bit British accent as well, it's a hard accent to do dw I'm sure you will get better.

  • i wana cum in ur eyes u loser

  • You realize that you don't have to be part Australian to do the accent. Even if you were Australian born in the US. You'd have a US accent. I'm a quarter Italian and I don't speak Italian or sound Italian.

  • she is cuuuuuuuute

  • YOU ARE CUTE, BUT YOUR AUSSIE IS CRAAAAAAAAPOLA

  • you look like miley cyrus \(^o\) (/o^)/

  • that sounds english

  • lol yeah sounds british

  • Im a new zealander and it's not aussie or nz. It's british haha

  • @beccapeeee agreed. NZ FTW

  • Your jealous of our accent?! I love the american accent :D

  • Sounds Kiwi (NZ) or British.

  • Nah thats someplace between saffas and Kiwi.

  • i thought you were british doing an australian lol

  • @Clickybux haha! that's awesome

  • haha you sound very english.

  • sounds like British mixed with kiwi hahaha

the words you said that sounded really good were:

changes, graphs, corresponds, finished, "to see if you", MATE haha

i say mate sometimes, not in a bogan way mainly when joking around with friends. i also say dude a lot hahaha.

  • @simonenaomi1 haha cool :P

  • Sounds like a regional British accent with a mix of South African vowels.

  • @HandsomeNamed it's so cool that there are all these different accents people are telling me! like Kiwi and South African.....I had never heard of that before!! Thanks for the comment :)

  • Mmm, well it's strange how people generalise the accent. Australian doesn't vary much across the states, we just have regional Aussie ie Redneck and then the standard. But "British" accent is as mixed as "American" accent, when you consider, say, someone from Brooklyn and someone from Texas... big difference.

Compare the brummy or yorkshire accent to a Londoner's :)

Oh, and in response to your comment about not having any Australian in you.... Would you like some?

    (couldn't resist)

  • @DearMyRachel Damnit stuff the Australian accent lol...you should do a British accent...I seriously thought you were from the UK!

  • @DearMyRachel the kiwi means new zealand and thats like our canada. so the accent is the same as ours (the aussie accent i mean) but like with a quirk to it.

  • Haha, no we don't say those things... Not the general population anyway, offcourse there's the Steve irwin stereotypes which live in the outback, however they are rare because no one lives out there... (& I'm yet to meet one,lol)...

Check out my accent (my channel) if you want to hear a general Aussie accent... :0)

  • You're really pretty btw... :0)

  • Haha, that was so cute... :0)

But it was actually a south African accent, possibly mixed with Kiwi,lol... But very close, great job! :0)

  • @DavinaFaerie aw thanks!!! :)

  • not even close

  • @TheresaNChristyy haha my bad

  • im aussie and yer we dont say gday or mate well i dont. i say dude :P

  • @livelovecherrish2307 really?? I would say mate all the time, I love it haha

  • You can do a WAY better Aussie accent than I can lol. That was awesome!

  • @TheSingingSweater aw thanks for the nice comment (:

  • English - not Aussie

  • BOO you sound like a Brit! Aussie's get offended when people try and copy us but they just sound BRITISH!!

  • @katchyname lol i'm sorry! i just did this for fun one day. Not trying to offend anyone. I love australians :)

  • That is not even close... sorry man. It was like British cockney crossed with American.

  • @horselover1300 haha oops :)

  • sounds like new zealand and british and im aussie and i hav never said mate before and constantly say dude.

  • @CantThinkofafckinNam really?? Thats cool, maybe i'll go there one day and get to hear real accents

  • @CantThinkofafckinNam same... im aussie and i tend to call everyone babe lol

  • @CantThinkofafckinNam Cool name :D I say mate all the time, but I'm from a pretty bogan place so guess it depends :P

  • @CantThinkofafckinNam That's because you've been bloody Americanised.

  • @timmafee0 thanks :) at least someones nice on here

  • @DearMyRachel no worries

  • Sounds too British...I can do Aussie very well, but when I try British, Aussie always sneaks in...it sucks. I can't do Scottish worth a crap either.

  • Sweet girl, I am an Australian and the best thing about you doing an Aussie accent is that you took off your glasses, you are very beautiful and seeminly very smart!! Thats HOT. You would be welcome in Australia as a bonza aussie shelia lol

  • @Liminalplace1 haha! I am actually quite smart and thanks for the nice comment :)

  • @Liminalplace1 haha! I am actually quite smart and thanks for the nice comment :)

  • Don't worry, us Aussies love your accent also :)

  • Sounds a lot more english, nice try though :) your natural accent is awesome though, we always want what we dont have haha

  • you sound like a New Zealander haha and im australian haha i envy your accent! (:

  • You should be around more Australians, because you need a little bit of help with a lot of the pronunciations of..everything... but your like, the only one (from America on Youtube) that knows Aussies don't say any of those random stereotypical phrases! :), so with that in mind, keep practicing and you will be able to do it (^_^)/

  • Sounded so cute! lol try relaxing a bit? You sounded so stressed about trying to get the right sounds:)

  • Wait are you sure you're American? You sounded very English, and you may be jealous of our accent, but I am jealous of your national anthem, ours is truly terrible lol.

  • @joeyws89 haha thanks :). I grew up in England bc my parents were in the air force. So maybe thats why :p

  • you're pretty hot - I'm from Australia lol.

  • xD Good attempt there, but the accent you're doing is actually a New Zealander accent, LOL. We (Australians) stretch the words a lot more, and it sounds even further from some of the British sounds that are in the New Zealand accent ;].

  • ROFL. You're my favorite.
