  • superb :-)

  • imagine that my favorite elvis song is the one that was never released (fast version) i would love to get my hands on this version. the slower version doen't do anything for me.

  • Fab fab fab xxx

  • Magnificent is all I can say!!

  • The slower version was the one released in 1964, as the flip side of "Ask Me". First rejected by RCA in 1958, by 1964 RCA was desperate to find decent Presley tracks to release. They went back to the vault and found the slower version which was originally rejected and forgotten. Years later, this faster version was found and finally released as well.

  • this is great, The King!! but, how bout some Link Wray?

  • BETTER THAN THE HIT VERSION which is slower

  • The 'Hillbilly Cat' at his rockin' best!

THANK YOU for sharing this with us, oldies55 (and getting the title correct....lol)

  • what album can I get this on?

  • You can find the fast version on a CD called "Reconsider Baby" it maybe a little hard to find, but it's well worth it.

  • JUST BRILLIANT!!

  • Thanks "nice" and thanks for dropping by

  • Fusion Rock-Twist rithm...Elvis the best!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Indeed! Thanks for dropping by

  • Great song!!!! The interesting thing about this song though recorded in 1958 (4th take) is that it was not released until September 1964. Don't know why cuz it rocks!!!

  • Thanx for the insight too!

  • @DawnStorm77 I know the primary reason, the Colonel felt that with the movies and their comcomitant LP soundtracks were not making as much money he decided there was too much "Elvis Product" available so he decided no more LPs or singles except for the Soundtracks who's quality was in decline one reason was that he liked to get songs from small times writers who be allow his publishing company have the rights

Devil In Disguise was the last of the singles released in 1963 RCA was not happy cont

  • @DawnStorm77 part 2 RCA therefore released old material from the vaults such as the above recording and also some half way decent songs from the soundtrack LPs Not until 67 or 68 I'm not surewhich, with sale continuing to plumment and Elvis disgusted with the movies and the soundtrack LP material did he release another single "In the Ghetto" and "If I Can Dream" Elvis was back especially after the success of his "comeback" TV special in 67 ot 68 The Colonel would continue with bad advice
