  • i want empire or napoleon they are probably my favorite total wars, not saying shogun 2 isnt fun or anything but i just feel that empire/napoleon bring back the good old days of total war. :)

  • Are you ever coming back? Or are you still sick?

  • empire so much fun

  • where do you get your tactics and what not? lol, is it just from playing games for so long, or from reading books or what? :P

  • Nice vid man

  • I'd like to see what changes mods like darthmod do to empire since I don't realy use them as I play multiplayer mainly.

however as long as I get more vids thats great

  • empire!

  • Empire!

  • I prefer to see you play Empire, but this is ok too. As long as you do your commentary thing :)

  • @denniswilder Lol looking at it that way you can't lose ;)

  • Empire!

  • @usops88 Possibly!

  • Empire Total War as Sweden! Play the role of the generous empire that gladly conquers and rules the peoples that can not control their barbaric selves! Muaharharhar!

  • @RoyalAnarchist That could be interesting!

  • good for you TLG! way to beat those HOES!!

  • @dcsmith5100 Handling a hoe, in a videogame. Ah technology

  • Very nice concepts you put into your battles and keep doing shogun =D

  • @EmperorsOfWar Appreciated mate and I shall try!

  • 5:40 Mr.Horse:shit the guy riding me got shot, better run now.2 secs later SHIT A CAMERA IT'LL SEE MY HAIR MESSED UP RUN!!!!

See that synoptic has made a new shogun video....

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!

  • @HydratedProductions Yeahhhhhhhh ;)

  • shogun shogun shogun

  • @Angusliketheburger You might have said it 3 times but I'll consider that as one vote :P

  • Well done synoptic

  • @xPeGaSuSx2 Thanks mate

  • why are firearms in shogun twice as effective as in Napoleon Total War?

  • @Beleshanel because they were common in NTW so the soldiers adapted to its sound and effect but not in S2tw

  • @Beleshanel the reall question is: why are firearms in napoleon total war twice as bad as in shogun?

  • @TheAlienpope Most likely because its using the latest of the engines path finding, and units move much faster than previous games. They get ready faster, and also considering they have absolutely no defenses unlike NTW's squares or stakes. Still, vetted up they are like modern bolt action rifles!

  • @Beleshanel because, in shogun soldiers aren't as used to the noise and efficiency of matchlocks so they are more afraid of them and run more often

  • @samtheshow39 that is a nice explanation concerning the troop morale. But my point was more about the inflicted casualties. One volley in shogun kills twice the amount of enemies as one volley in NTW would do. Soldiers in Napoleonic ages are not necesserly better armoured, but their weapons should be more accurate in the game i suggest.

  • @Beleshanel yea it is pretty unbalanced. there should be a giant morale hit, but matchlock firearms should never be twice as accurate as flintlock muskets and rifles.

  • yea take those hoes!

  • @BF2superfans Them hoes are fiesty

  • I think the Empire total war let's play will really drag on. There are a million towns where it is simply from one town to the next. At least in Shogun you have invasions and objectives to follow to help keep the game interesting. Playing the specific role in the clan can also make things more exciting than empires, skirmishers or line infantry standard. Please do Shogun :P

  • @cookie852 Still 50/50! :P

  • @SynopticCam SHOGUN IT IS THEN :D

  • @cookie852 I like the way you see those odds!

  • @SynopticCam Far easier to win a war with optimism than pessimism...(actually a word?). Either way I will leave you to your decision :)

  • Synoptic V.S. Hoes..EPIC!!

Its like Alien V.S. Predator or Freddy V.S. Jason!

  • Why do people use the wedge formation? It gets rid of the charge bonus!

  • @DJYC21215 that may be but due to its arrow like shape wedge and diamond formation penetrate enemy unit formations better, just like an arrow.

  • @LORDMEHMOODPASHA Yes but not only will your calvalry take heavy damage from "touching" a unit behind the one you charged, neither one of the units will take much damage. If your charging a matchlock thats in guard mode your basically wasting your calvalry. If your charging another calv unit they will get surrounded and mowed down. If your charging past a spear wall into a general in stand and fight your calvalry will die miserably. Wedge formation isnt usefull on total war games.

  • @DJYC21215 Yea, I find the same. A large front sends a lot of people flying, whereas the wedge sends only the middle 12 or so flying.

  • @DJYC21215 Breaks through lines far easier, and takes much less losses in the process. Great for General killing.

  • @SynopticCam I'd have to disagree. My general has been wedge formation charged many times and has not died from a single wedge formation charge even when in stand and fight. Also from what ive notice when you charge units in the wedge formation, instead of mowind down half the unit and near instantly routing them like in the standard line formation, you normally only kill about 15 men on the charge and your horses get easily surrounded. So i have to strongly disagree with the general killing.

  • @DJYC21215 I'm talking as in, wedge cav breaks through a defensive line to then attack and kill the general. The aim is not to kill the defensive line but to go through it.
