preeeetty! you showed the colors really well. i have tenacious and i love love love it! the shimmer is great for the inner-middle of the eye. i use milani java bean underneath & it adds amazing dimension. YAY FOR H.I.P!

well ya sorry your right when you have a one of the bigger pigments from mac for 20 and loreals are smaller thats true. I wasnt thinking of the size and gee my mind slipped with that lol...I wish they sold the mac pigments in a smaller container but the smaller ones only usually come with holiday sets. btw I love your reviews and hauls every week I was trying to make some and my mic is messed up so gotta get a new one so I can show my stuff! ttyl bye~

um but you hardly get any in the loreal pigments.. and you pay $10 where as with a mac one you get so much and even if you use it everyday they last for at least 2 years/

so really its better to buy the mac ones for 20 cuz the loreal ones will not last very long so you;ll have to keep paying 10 everytime you run out so it will end up costing you alot more.

i wish you could buy nyx at other places than just online and ulta if you know other places let me know k...my ulta store is like 50miles away so of course im not going there often. I love those nyx ones and their so cheap!

true, true. but for those of us who only use these shadows sparingly like as a mid-eye highlighter, it may not make sense to buy MAC. i've used the same H.I.P. eyeshadow about every other day for a yr and haven't even made a dent. during that time i've had a few girls ask me what mac eyeshadow it was. unlike having to drive a bit out of the way to get MAC, H.I.P. are available like everywhere. great point though, the more often you use the eyeshadow the more sense it makes to get MAC.

be careful, I watched a haul vid not too long ago and the size of the jars have changed from 7.5 to 4.3 for the same price of $20+ and they have the nerve to go up on them and you get the same amt. of product that's messed up. I want to try to the nyx ones myself and maybe even the TKB Trading ones as well. I'll keep the good folks posted.

so your saying you would rather pay 20 for a mac than 10 for a loreal? Umm nah that just doesnt make sense unless you wanted a mac color loreal doesnt have. It just seems like ppl are so crazy for a brand name over prices. Most ppl dont know that alot of makeups are made a the same factories and they just put names on them. It just doesnt make sense for the average person to spend so much money on a name? Loreal and mac I have both and most of the hip line is the same and cheaper.save money!

I agree...name schmame, price schmice I mean I like finding comparable if not better product for less I thrive on it, that was one of my reasons for collecting HiP in the first place. a few years ago was gungho MAC because I wanted to see what the buzz was but damn MAC is not the end all be all, good brand not knocking it but give me a break and then they have the nerve to go up on the price WTF? I like what I like I use what I use oh well. peace.

ya actually I just bought some mac shadows and there the first ones I have and there nice but I honestly cannot see what the big buzz is and for the price either? I got the red she said in danger zone and humid and poste haste and really its ok but not like I thought? Maybe I got the wrong ones? I dont care about names thou its just stupid all that crap is too much anywhere u go haha
