HELP me!!!! How can i put it on movie maker so i can start my introduction on a film?

Nice job! And thanks for the tutorial. I just made my own kitty roaring using an inferior program that didn't let me put the kitty inside the logo circle. But I still like what I did with it. You can watch it if u want. :) My computer is really old, but I should see if I can use Adobe After Effects or Sony Vegas on this dinosaur of a computer.

Why so complicated?! I made mine with a simple overlay. My MGM intro is a PNG graphic with transparent background/middle section. I just layed the graphic over my video file and done.

I was thinking of somewhere along the lines of ManyCam of superimposing the image on (MC) and cutting out the hole and doing it all with sound in one shot and hoping to get lucky. How much memory do you need for the program that your running on your pc I have HD space but it’s the RAM?

Nice video on showing how its done. Oh I have used Pro-Tools once but that was on MAC not pc so I know of the sound editing part is bit of pig to sync up!

@kweeziewabbit Nope, you can trial AAE, but they're on CS5 now and you need a 64 bit operating system to run it.

I love Argentina, I spent 6 months there. I started in Patagonia and worked my way up to Buenos Aires. Argentina is perhaps my favourite country I've ever been to.

hi kie77 hey awesome tutorial, im trying to follow it, but im using adobe after effects cs4, and it seems to be a different layout, i cant figure how you hav both images ...iv cut out the lion and im using a friends baby, but i dont get the mask thingie happening once iv cut out?

any ideas, cheers mate....check out sum of my vids...

Hello dirrka69. I too use adobe after effects cs4. You need 2 layers. The top layer is the MGM image and the layer underneath is the friends baby. Use the pen tool on the top layer, once you've drawn your mask around the lion you will get a mask, you have to draw all the way around and link back to your first dot and you will get a mask.

Guys, get a free 30 day trial of adobe after effects from their site. This MGM logo is the perfect video to make for first timers.

Good question. I used camtasia, you can get a free 30 day trial from their site.

The camtasia file, so that's all the screen and talking bit, was about 47 meg after I compressed it.

The final video you see here is about 100 meg. It's basically 3 videos tagged together in adobe after effects...the tutorial intro logo, the tutorial itself and the cool alien ending...which was just something I wanted to try out.
