What I think is happening, is that we have let republicans make the decisions for so long in this country-that they have built up their own structure of how America does things-especially economically & foreign policy wise-that now, when democrats finally control things-they have to tear down so much at once, that it might lead to some very nasty unintended consequences.
We may not always like the current structure of order in the world and in America-but tearing it down all at once brings chaos. Look at Saddam in Iraq-was he a good leader? Was he righteous, or compassionate? No-but he maintained some sense of order-and now that we have completely destroyed his rule-we have completely destroyed the order in that country, and you can bet your ass shit will really hit the fan if & when we leave. Such is the case for America-and the rest of the world.
So HERE is your difference-Gingrich wants to START another war. Obama is just having difficulty ENDING what republicans have started.
Let's not START more vicious cycles. The way to do that is to KEEP THESE RIGHT WING NUTCASES OUT OF POWER!
You think our economy & our foreign policy is unstable and unfortunate NOW? Give the right just 4 more years and see how much worse it gets. 2 wars might look a lot better than 4.
And does Iran think they will not get decimated if they fuck with us? No.

agreed, I hope the "tea baggers' have divided the GOP and we progressives can rally a larger majority, we need to improve the way the US government is conducting itself, domesticaly and internationaly. The GOP always says "we need smaller government" what we need is better government, and they are the major problem with that.
