Well, for those of you who don't understand why the audience is laughing...

The host is just playing with the lyrics and the title of the song, which is one person reminiscing about a past lover. He is acting as though IU is singing in dedication to him. In other words, he's just joking around.

@redevils89 actually, they're laughing because IU's singing three songs that were were all were written by the host, Yoo Heel Yeol, aka Toy. It seems like he didn't know she was going to sing his songs, so he's obviously happy and honored, but also embarrassed.

@HitStep08 if we're talking about other scenarios other than this one i laugh with/at him because he seems so genuine and honest when he giggles. he's a serious musician heavily respected in the korean music industry and you don't expect him to emote such a bubbly geeky personality. especially in a calm serious non-variety show type of program like this. but i guess if that's not your humor chord than maybe chocolate might be more of your taste (?)
