how do you create uv snapshots that already has a transparent background ready for photoshop? i keep getting a black background and i'm not that familiar with photoshop techniques
Hey, firstly set up the Render Settings by going to Window - Rendering Editors - Render Settings. Choose Maya Software and under the Common tab specify a file name, image format, frame range to render and image size. In the Maya Software tab choose Production Quality. Then go to the Rendering menu set and choose Render - Batch Render.
Check out the Rendering Wireframe tutorial on my channel - it's the same process but instead of rendering using Maya Vector use Maya Software. Hope this helps!
Thanks, i'm currently doing a character modeling series and after that i plan on unwrapping the character and doing some texture mapping. So should have some UV mapping videos up soon!
thank you very much
