I own a Mac and a PC. My Mac is only used for iPhone programming. Like sgtheadhole, I built my PC for about a grand. Speed tests confirm my PC to be about 5-10% faster than the $4000 mac pro.

Besides that, the cumbersome interface means I spend about 10% less time actually doing work, because i have to resize and move windows very often. It it not possible to have a program I'm working on just... fill the screen? Or to keyboard tab between windows in a program? It's Counter-intuitive.

Again this comes down to you not knowing how to use a computer. Try "option" clicking the + button in the window. Bada Bing, Full screen. That works in any window. Counter intuitive is having to click through 9+ dialog boxes to install an application vs. 2 or 3 at most on a Mac. I have a PC and use it frequently as well, I'm not saying they aren't good computers, they just aren't Macs. Period.

This is all pointless. People who have Macs love them, some who don't hate them, but most people wish they could afford one. When I tell people to get a Mac who don't most people say it's too expensive. Sure, you can get a similar computer for much less money if it's a PC, but that's not why people buy Macs. They aren't spec machines alone, though they always use some of the best components that are geared for the mass market.
