Interesting film - watched it the other and night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely one for already existing fans of the slasher genre and in my eyes, it did better than Scream with the whole post-modern self-awareness of convention angle. This movie is incredible. It's a parody of course. But it is creepy, silly, sad, scary, intense, and interesting. It really pushed the genre. Some moments are totally tounge and cheek while other moments are really rather disturbing or telling of true sociopathy. A lot of people walk away from this movie forcing themselves to make up their mind as to whether they love it or hate it, but I think it deserves a lot deeper then that.
