I bought a claimed 3W one from chinavasion which turned out to be 2W (500mw per band), it’s brilliant for WIFI and Bluetooth, but when it comes to jamming phones, it only works in low reception areas, not through walls, so practically useless for phones. I suppose if you want a proper phone jammer only the military one’s would work not the ones you could buy.
@MisterHeizenberg Some countries use cell-phone jammers in movie theaters, religious places, libraries, educational Institutions, hospitals, police forces and military. Jammers are also used in buildings where and when the use of mobile telephones may result in a leak of sensitive information. Most correctional facilities in North America used jammers inside jails.
More junk on the Net! If this guy had only viewed this YouTube video I could have saved him time, money and frustration. So sad he spent hard earned money for something that is junk! Maybe if he places the cell phone jammer next to the phones you (RardSFX) can claim this jammer works too.
Use this title below and check out this guy’s test he did on a Cellular Phone Jammer. Must see!
One more thing. Most to all of these jammers block GSM and 3g. The 3g is only for data, correct? So the only thing the jammer has to worry about blocking is the gsm signal? Im asking because of the new 4g network that will be coming into effect by 2012. Would it be better to hold off on jammers that block 4g, or does it not matter?? Thanks!!
@ArmyDeUno These guys are good and they sell only original brand devices. Customer service is very good, you have a variety of methods of payment and prices are reasonable. Google the name jammer all dot com
Take your time and read the info they provide and be sure that these device are permitted in your area.
10 dBm Low power cell phone jammer. This device does not perform as well as the advertisement claims. Range is only 2 to 10ft at best and power output is only approx 12 milliwatts.
Are you looking for a handheld or base station? Do you want a Chinese reverse engineered brand or the more expensive original? What range of frequencies do you want blocked? Check your local and state cellular provider for more info. I am not your mommy so do your homework and then I can provide you with a dealer.
@masterjedi32 i want a handheld one that will cover about the size of a medium sized class room. all i want is to know a couple of sites that sell this stuff. i would greatly appreciate it if you could provide a couple of links for me. there was one site i used to go to andd planned on ordering from but, now that i want to order i can not remember the name nor can i find the site.
I just want to add one last thing. Don’t get caught with this device or any radio jammer in use or not. In the United States, you will be violating FCC laws and here in Canada I am in contravention of the CRTC laws just by having this in my possession. If you sell a jammer, you are again breaking the law.
Remember!!!! You get what you pay for. This device works poorly! If you are in a major metropolitan area like New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, Miami, Vancouver, you will not get more than 12 inches of range. Public transit….. Good luck. Trust me on this guys. If you really want to disrupt someone’s cellular signal, you will need a 2 or 3 watts portable jammer as a minimum.
Sorry for the delay dude. Not sure if I can help you now, but take a look at my post dated 6th Nov 2011. It should help anyone looking to purchase a good portable mobile jammer and not get ripped off.
Confirming that it does work and then calling it junk is contradictory. At the end of the day it depends on why you are buying one of these devices. If buying as a novelty/gadget to play with or like you did just to try out this technology I would say it is well worth $20, if you are planning on robbing a bank and need something to stop customers calling the cops then shell out for the $200 version.
Would you rather pay $28.000.00 for a Ford Focus or 70,000.00 for and Audi A6. The Ford is a car and works, but the Audi you have to admit is a much better vehicle. I just want people to get the best bang for their buck and I am will to expose companies that try and sell junk on the net. That is what I do. I take the time to write unbiased reviews where others don't.
i had one of these but it actually reached 10 meters, it was 30 dollars. i bought a new one because it was just to small to work with 3g when the signal was strong,so my new one has 10 watts and reaches 60 meter radius.

Hey, do you think the extreme cooling jammers are good? It helps to prevent it from overheating

@ArmyDeUno If you plan on using it for prolonged periods of time, I definitely think the extreme cooling jammers are best.

I get 6 feet indoors and had to tune the pots to get mine to work. Not the best model to get. Antennas are also easy to bend/break.
