The only abuse here is subjecting all dogs in the US by brining in infected animals.

This dog was treated and the dog got better and almost completely recovered. The nose will unfortunately always be damaged and partially gone.

THIS VIDEO IS DISTURBING!!! Toward the end of the video, where Vive is hiding behind the pole, the person filming makes a chuckling sound; almost a laugh!!!!!

I'm appalled that someone would actually take the time and film this poor dog. Not to mention, he is teathered, in the hot sun, with open flesh - There is no veteranarian in this world that would agree to keep this animal alive in this condition; especially with nothing covering his gaping wounds! @827hbd You don't even know what you are talking about... These girls would never ever laugh at a dog in such a bad shape. They are volunteers and spend their free time taking care of that and other animals. And the chuckling sound is not remotely a laugh, it's more like a sigh, as they were talking as the "previous day the dog was moving its tail". Vive is almost recovered, at least, mentally - he is no longer afraid of people and enjoys its life as a dog. Vive deserved this second chance!

All animals are survivors and it is their instinct to want to live. They need to be given every chance we can give them and usually when they are ready to leave - they let us know in some way (you can usually tell when an animal has given up. Vive HAS BEEN THROUGH HELL. He has love now. Let's not give up on him yet.
