  • 300 My tuchas! LOL That must be Carlisle, PA, that is a beautiful town!

  • Nice and shiny wagon! All Chrysler NewYorkers upto '65 had the 413 engine standard.

I also agree the wheels are tasteless and take down the appearance of the car, but I'm also aware a set of aluminium wheels drive so much better then a set of steel wheels. Can't care for the modern seats but I do dig the center console a lot. I've got a similar console out of a '64 Chrysler, put I think they all kinda looked alike in those models and years.

  • the wheels are hideous. The wagon would look better with some correct for the year hubcaps on top of steel wheels.

  • @justin1138 wouldn't be my choice but he's having fun, what do you drive? Do you drive?

  • This car confuses me. It has a 1961-1962 front end with a 1960 rear end. Did I miss something?

  • gorgeous car,ive always loved wagons even more than ragtops.as far as buckets?some had optional front buckets, why not rear?the only thing i dont like its the wheels.i think they are 80's imperial ''snowflakes'' they were hideous on the imperials, and even worse on anything else

  • interior is kinda cool, must be fun driving it. The design on these cars are timeless, new cars arent even close to the soul that is in the old cars.

  • @PontiacT89 good to see a tolerant polite open-minded comment, thanks! So many guys come off like Ayatollahs, purists. I mean really, it takes all kinds, relax people!

  • North America Aye?

  • @bradgotch Aye matey arrrr

  • @bradgotch Cool. A friend of mine brings back a big ol Chrysler to the land of Aus every time he goes over.

  • really sad they ruined the interior

  • @jesusgoddamchrist Yeah. Back bucket seats in a station wagon? That's just wrong. If you can't find the original then at least find something similar.

  • We own a 1961 Chrysler New Yorker in Essex, England. I just can't understand why anyone would put a modern interior in such a beautiful original and very rare classic car like this one. I am never usually one to criticize people's choice, but it seems like sacrilege to me.

  • It may be a business showcasing its work?

  • I want one.

  • I like MCG's coverage of cars like this. Why not update an old MoPar and make it an every day driver??? Ain't no MoPar Ayatollahs telling ME what to do! Yeah I prefer stock but...be free. And be tolerant.

  • ever find out what motor was under the hood of this car?

  • I just assumed it was a big block...
