@EclecticDiscus Sawchuk absolutely had the coolest mask, but he was also absolutely not the best ever. His record was exaggerated by his early, unfortunate death. Factually, he was not even the best of his era. Both Hall and Plante were better during the time that all 3 played.

Bunny Larocque's mask was pretty trippy there. I likes the point at the bottom, really would throw some ones off. CuJo's mask were always sick (good way), I'm surprised he didn't have multiple showings to be honest.

Worst top 10 of all time. First of all, Belfour is 10th while Raycroft is 9th?! Secondly, where the hell is Toskala's mask? And finally, how the fuck is Cujo at #4 and not in the top 2? I'm not a huge Cujo fan, believe you me, but that mask was WAY better than Palmateer or Sawchuck, who by the way I still consider the greatest goalie of all-time.

I've always thought that the ICONIC mask for Toronto was Mike Palmateer's in much the same way as Dryden's was for Montreal. The designs that came along later may have been more intricate and detailed, but Palmateer's mask was THE mask for Toronto, set the standard and ultimately was iconic.
