You are awesome dude thank you. My guitar playing has made leaps and bounds in the last two years thanks to you. As Keith would say, "gold rings on ya!"
hey man, great playing ;) But how can I play the second guitar on midnight rambler, I know its the lead guitar but the other guitar player in my band won´t play the leadline and he isn´t able to play the riff in keiths style. So I play the riff mixed with the leadline^^. I hope you can help me
Dude awesome explanation, great lesson, you are a good teacher. Whatever you do, DON'T listen to trollers on youtube dissing your videos, I got a guitar last April and most of what I know, probably 75%, came from your tutorials. Keep going! I'm waiting for you to get started on the DOORS catalogue, lol
Absolutely great lesson. As someone else already said, Justin Sosa's lesson was good; but yours is better. It was easy to understand and to keep up with.
I watch alot of guitar tutorials .. with people like Justin, Marty Schwartz.. but your very good as well! You play alot of music i like.. i'm only 25! Love the Rolling Stones.. i'm from the Uk as well. Keep it up.. Brilliant work :)
great lesson .... caused me to write a song called see through blues which i tried to post here as a video reply .... a little different than the stuff you've got here ... hope you enjoy and keep up the stones lessons .... coutry honk was incredible too
thanks for doing this. I hope you keep hammering out these song. I love your song selection. Last month got together with a few guys, drummer, piano, several guitars and we jammed to your version of Slave. It was a blast.
@crb1961 Ha, that's awesome! Look on YouTube for the Stones' outtake of Slave, the one that goes on for 10 minutes. Plenty of room for jamming on that version.
Great Video - You seem to play all the music i like really well. I have learnt a vast amount from your playing still need to practice more. BTW is that a Gretcsh ?
man, excellent lesson! I though Justin Sosa's lesson was good and clearly he has most of it, but this really cleared up some things for me. I was also glad to see that you have been playing for as long as you have. Sometimes with my 1 and half year of seriously trying and learning and taking lesson, I still feel frustrated and like I'm completely wasting my time. I know I just have to keep at it. Thanks again for another great lesson! You may have no idea how many people you help!
@kcuhcsniknej If you've been sticking with it for 18 months, then you're probably hooked for life. I actually feel like the first few years I played were the most fun, because things like discovering how to play Stones songs or stumbling onto a new alternate tuning was thrilling. Savor the learning process.
Hey Chris. Have watched your growth on here since late September and love what you do but what is especially impressive is how you quietly and humbly plow through all these great songs. It's very refreshing to find great players without an ego that you cant fit through a door. Keep up the fantastic work and if you are ever in the Vancouver area maybe we could jam sometime. C-YA

This now is my Friday night project.
So simple and yet so soulful. Tons of subtle variations though. Makes it extra amazing.
All played, yet again tricker, so freakin well.
You are so inspiring.
