This movie was kind of weird. Now, as for the fighting scene, I think it would have been cool if Allie, Miles, Will, Lance, Marco, and Jen were somehow sent to King Arthur's time and they learned about their past while being in Camelot... and THEN came up to the fighting scene. I mean wouldn't it be cool if they changed it around a bit? It would make more sense. Like maybe they are related to each of those Medieval characters.
Well, I called this ending from the beginning...... I mean, Why else would Alli be having all those visions of herself in knights clothing? Why else would they be trying to play up Marco's bad side (Disney rule: anyone who they are trying to make look evil, is probably not)? Why else would the professor be creepily fascinated with the book, and he was trying to be the nice guy (another Disney rule)
and apparently they even changed the movie from the book to make it "less predictable"... Pfft...
Merlin isn't even IN the book! Will is supposed to be King Arthur! King Arthur CAN'T be a girl. It doesn't even make sense! Wouldn't history say he was a she?If she's King Arthur,who is Lancelot and Guinevere? And so the teacher is her half brother? Plus, her parents aren't all messed up the way King Arthur's are supposed to be. King Arthur's mother isn't married to his father at first. She cheated on her husband, who ended up being murdered by King Arthur.One word can describe this movie: FAIL!

The acting was forced and mediocre, the plot was predictable, even with the twist, and the characters were much more shallow than the book, and it's just made the whole thing seem unprofessional and childish. Sorry to all the fans, but Disney should stick to cartoons and original plots, instead of ruining other peoples'.

I was ok with the changes already, but this twist is excruciating.
I like the girl power bit, but really, it's too much. I think Ally's (Elaine really) character in the book was perfect. And the ending in the book was much more epic - even without the magic.

They were really fishing for some new twist to make the story different, but now it doesn't work and is really almost laughable.

@zannal1316 Well not necessarily cause they had a pool(remember when Will went to eat burgers at allie's house? you could see a pool). I think the main reason why they didn't do the pool scenes is because Allie isn't the Lady of the lake(anymore). But, then again, you could be right :)
