There is a simple fix that you can do to those gearbox shells. In a nutshell drill an about ~2mm wide hole in the spot where the nub was, and then screw a small screw on its place that fits the hole snugly. Not all the way in obviously, just so that it takes the place of the original nub. then finish it off with dremel. Has always worked out for me.

I have the classic army m15a4 and it wont shoot pellets.The hop up is good and i been told the air nozzle was supposed to move but it doesnt? It still shoots out air but doesnt move. what could be the problem?

the gear boxes you can fix with jb weld and its not like the kind with sparks and stuff it comes in a tube and you can get it from lowes maby even wal mart

Your pretty tech smart. The piston at 6:10 should be reusable. Just remove the last tooth out and fine down the part he screwed up on. It should increase rate of fire and still work. The gearboxes at the beginning, you can solder the whole mech to the gearbox or just replace the box completely. I'm sure you know all this anyway.

I have little question. My gun is almost all the parts replaced with the exception of the cylinder and gearbox shell BUT it doesnt shoot. What could be wrong? I have Deep Fire Enlarged metal nozzle, KA hopup chamber and Madbull 6.03 barrel. The bb to fly slowly to 5 m and then drops. Got also M120 spring, mosfet, 11v lipo etc.... I would be grateful if you would have something about the problem...

friends jg m4 (basic version) stopped working, no noise from the gear box, tested with 3 different batteries wich all worked. I think its a broken fuse. What could be the problem?it was fine 1 day and then not the next.

@TeamAirsoftMonkeys yeah try replacing that fuse, also check all electrical connections on the gun. no noise means no electricity is getting around (usually)

@quickscopez500 With high torque motors, you can use heavier springs (M130+) which would shoot about 430+ FPS. But it's not worth getting unless you have quite some amount of bucks lying around for a reinforced gearbox, better piston and gears.
