  • Frank

  • @ckhang hanh! duh!

  • @ckhang of course Hanh

  • im looking for advise on gaining wait. i lift 5 days a week and im 6'3" but i cant get past 190 pounds any advise?

  • @MrPoopaloops Your probably doing it wrong. recheck your routine. Its not your body. its what you are doing.

    Check What you eat

    Check Work out Routine

  • @MrPoopaloops

Sleep well, have rest days when necessary, eat healthy, and have an appropriate workout routine.

  • @MrPoopaloops puttin muscle implyes eating more 3000+kcal 60%carbs 30% protein 10% fat . and heavy compound exercises followed by dome isolation , 4-5 for back/legs , 3-4 arms/shoulders/chest . drink alot of watter , ;) good luck

  • @MrPoopaloops if you're lifting that much it's what you're doing outside the gym, increase your carbs and protein a lot, lots of rice, chicken, fish, red meats, and potatoes!

  • How tall is he?

  • @Emmanuel5005 He is 5"5....

  • I've got a serious question, even though it might seem off xD

What happens when a knife is stabbed at you? Does it go right through or does it bend because of hard muscles? O_O

  • @Miacun There's no possible way any muscle in the human body can actually bend the point of a knife.Of course it'll go right through.

  • @Miacun hahaha of course it will go right through! :P

  • @Miacun Unless you're superman

  • lol he's mad sexy

  • 21's best arm work out

  • name of this song?? i use these type songs to lift with so thats y im asking plus pose on stage to! if u dont remember me im chris darby..jons friend from houston we lifted legs together late one nite..my email is superman51016@yahoo.com..if u wanna help me out with sending me cool songs u find like these for ur videos. appreciate it bro if u could.

  • could you guys put up the week by week routine including sets and reps? =D TY!

  • His arms are bigger than my thighs O.O

  • @HanhChampion hey, could u give me a whole outline of this workout?

  • Han please let me know the song sample you used in the end of this video! Its such a good pump up song

  • Wassup Hanh, whats ur guys workout days, like what do you specifically do on monday and so on through the days? i need some help i might be training wrong

  • Question on looks. Im starting to work out myself and Im start low to get my body use to the movements without locking up. Besides all this I normally see most people who work on have amazing skin, and I was wondering if that is helped by the food change and the work out. Does this all help naturally the way you look and this is excluding all naturally cleansing rituals.

  • @TylerGagne .....uhhhh showering?

  • @MustBeFiend Did you not read what I said? Clearly you hadnt. I made clear that I was asking if it had benefits other then normal every day cleansing which is... yes, showering. Read into it a bit more.

  • @TylerGagne Skin is usually determined by mostly genetics if you're referring to acne and what not. However, eating lean since you're working out and trying to get fit will improve the overall skin. Plus, having muscles make your skin tight and has an appealing look as opposed to having flabby arms full of fat. Overall, just stay hydrated and eat clean.

  • nice video

what tank top is he wearing? im looking for a good quality tanktop for workout please let me know thanks

  • also what fat burner is andrew using?

  • whats andrew's cardio workout? does he do intervals? does he just use the stairmaster or does he use the treadmill/elliptical too? why the stairmaster above the treadmill/elliptical?

  • Just thought I compliment you on the camera work. The different camera angles give a more dramatic effect. Good Job.

  • andrew is such a beast >< thanks for upload hang ur the best !

  • so i got a question. Do you ever drink alcohol. Cuz it seems like you live a really strict life and im just curious lol

  • wows. would u prefer skull crushers as the best workout for triceps?

  • Rob it depends on how many sites they use the calipers on. If it's 3 its not so accurate

  • @phoreak

hey andrew thanks for the response. Yeah they did do the 3 and that's what I said too. What method did you use ?

  • Not healthy at all, your brain begins to not function correctly if it's under 4%

  • @phoreak

so is that why they call those guys in the IFBB meatheads?

  • I started at 10.9% bf, dietitians have their own opinion; Ive got one last semester so I can call myself an exercise scientist lol.

  • @phoreak

    wow COOOL!!

    that's really neat!

  • @phoreak

hey how accurate are the body fat caliper. Someone trained to measure that did it and said I was 3.6.

I know that it is off by a few points though.

  • if I moved out there can i workout with yall???

  • Guy looks great and all but arm days are pretty stupid. Push/pull or whatever routine you have, just finish rows with some curlz and that'll be enough.

  • Damn this dude has cyborg legs. I wonder what his leg workout looks like.

But why so much emphasis on biceps and not triceps? He did 4 exercises of basically the exact same thing for bis: ez-barbell curls, preacher curls, dumbbell curls, then one arm dumbbell preacher curls. Isn't that overtraining?

Afterwards he only did like 3 exercises for tris: skullcrushers, pulldowns, and the one armed variation with cable at the end. No close grip presses or overhead tricep extensions. Why?

  • i see andrew works out his biceps more then his tri's why is that??

  • DEXA is the golden and most accurate but it being expensive to use, the hydrostatic weighing is the most accurate as of right now

  • @phoreak

dieticians would disagree but actually it's not as expensive as you think.

check your pm box I sent you something.

  • Did my hydrostatic yesterday afternoon, I'm 5.1%

  • @phoreak

    HOLY.

Yeah I knew you were pretty low man. That's really good for bodybuilding.

But you don't maintain that too long right? I've read it's not healthy.

  • @HanhChampion, i am 14 turning 15 this year and i wanna workout this summer.

does it prevent you from growing taller at a young age?

  • can u put his stats up on your blog. like arm inch an hams etc

  • Yo Hahn, noticed in the vids Andrew is always doing step machine for cardio. Is there a specific reason for this compared to other cardio activity or does he switch it up? Also does he apply HIIT training when doing cardio, or does he just keep to a moderate intensity throughout the 30mins?

  • All, I'm doing, pullups, bench and squats in one day then I do it every M-W-F, I'm not sure if I should add one more day or reduce it. I wanna get lean. Any advice?

  • how high is this guys bodyfat %? He looks quite big, but i guess his weight is not that high. I guess you seem bigger the more ripped you are, right?

  • @Anima87 He's (I'm guessing) 14% at the moment. I'm about 11% year round (measured on a bmi machine so its pretty accurate). I'm guessing he should end up in the 7% range by the time he steps on stage so he'll definitely be a lot leaner than me. We have a lot of time to work with.

  • @HanhChampion Hi Hahn. What i mean by big is not fat. I'm just relating to myself. I just started doing weights again and i am 6" 3' and 270 lbs and a high bodyfat percentage of around 30. I want to use it as motivation to loose some weight, but it's hard changing some habits thats been with me for so long.

    Greetings from Europe (Denmark)

  • @Anima87 I think you should set some short term goals week by week. It'll help you get to where you want to be. By saying 'started doing weights again' meaning you quit before is usually because you didn't get the results you expected. Anyways just my advice. You can do it.

  • @HanhChampion Actually, i just have some time of the year when i am too stressed and busy with examinations (Finals you call them in USA?) and just don't have the mindset to get my ass down into the gym. I did the following today which i don't think is too bad:

Squats: 10 x 240 lbs (with three warm up sets of 40, 127 and 216)

    Deadlifts: same as above

I just really need to work on my dumbell bench presses.. i fail at 8 x 60 lbs :(

  • @HanhChampion

    BMI machine?

  • @CheesecakeFarini

body mass index machine, measures your body fat percentage

  • @ssmuong

    yeah but what is it?

I've heard of DEXA, hydrostatic, bioelectical impedence, and RIA methods but never BMI machine so that's why I was asking.

  • @CheesecakeFarini no such thing as a bmi machine. the most accurate from what I could recollect is the bodpod and the dunk tank which is the hydrostatic in medical terms.

  • @GuitarDude1

DEXA is most accurate. Hydrostatic is second.

DEXA is now considered the gold standard amongst dieticians and exercise science communities.

Bodpod has too much from for error. Smallest margin of error would be dexascans. I think BMI machine is that bioelectrical impedence device you grab w/ both hands. Or at least that's what was meant.

  • gonna look unreal in a few weeks

  • @oglkump You are correct.

  • whats the difference between shorter curl vs. a longer curl?

  • I thought ice1cube(frank) said isolation workout like the bicep curls are useless?

  • @rvbCabooservb He meant that for beginners as his videos was directed towards three basic compound movements (bench, squats, deadlifts) Those would be more beneficial for starters instead of isolated workouts which would work better for someone with already developed muscles.

  • @phoreak whats ur usual weight workout time and cardio time after your workout?

  • is it better to train in sets (chest/back or chest/shoulders mon and bicep/tricep tuesday) or leg workout tuesday and arm workout wed?

  • Hey Hahn, who's bigger? You or Andrew?

  • han, you should make a flexing video. no homo.

  • fuarkk so pumped now, gonna go gym and hit back/biceps :D ur a legend hanh, and ur gf is hot as hell (y) TEEHEE

  • VASCULARITY!!!

  • Nice video! Also Hanh, do you eat cheat meals at all during weekends?

  • SO VASCULARRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

  • I like all the positive energy this produces along with inspiration.. Good job Hahn and good luck Andrew

  • Very cool video series Hanh, nice to see you back making videos. Its great to be able to see Andrew's progress week by week. Noticed he was doing skull crushers over the forehand versus behind the head. Do you have any recommendations for one over another? I've heard behind your head is less stress on the elbows.

  • @858ChouChou: Woops, typo on my part forehead*

  • @858ChouChou there's different variations. Whichever you prefer.

  • that's a nicceeee gym!

  • "Lithium: karaoke. sweet

  • Hanh can you please confirm that he takes his meals/shake after cardio?

  • have you ever encountered wrist pain after lifting? recently my right wrist has been hurting whenever i turn it (like turning a doorknob) i've stopped lifting for a week now hoping it'll heal up

  • @shummyshum use wrist wraps. maybe you were pushing more weight than your wrist is capable of handling at the moment. Working out has all sorts of pain.

  • Lawl at the "(smile) to be continued" :P

  • Is it better to alternate exercises of biceps and triceps (like 1 exercise for biceps, then triceps, then biceps, etc)? I noticed Andrew did a bunch for biceps, then did triceps - is that the order for his workout or just the editing?

    Thoughts anyone?

    Awesome vid Hanh!

  • @Ltunes13 thanks. They are in order. You can pick whatever exercise you like and do them in any order.

  • whats the name of the song at the end? O:

  • @xdudex3 I'm pretty sure it's from one of the resident evil movie soundtracks

  • i wish i was buff.... *pulls out a chocolate bar.

  • @harbeh You could if you really wanted to. I think everyone has potential.

  • @HanhChampion hey hanh which cardio machine r the best at burning fat? as i can see andrew likes to use the stairmasters

  • @harbeh put down that chocolate bar

  • I just came back from the gym and this video makes me want to go back to the gym........

  • Hanh! I am going to put a lot of effort and dedication into my workouts due to Andrew inspiring me, but I am still very new to some aspect of it. Can you elaborate the difference between free weights and machine? I read a previous comments of yours saying all equipments works and it;s just how you use them. Thanks for upload videos and inspiring us to be healthy.

  • @Asiaxminor Machines are more focused on certain areas as free weights use multiple muscle groups to stabilize the movements.

  • @Asiaxminor Free weights will always be harder since you use your balance muscles in the process. Generally you see people hit heavier sets on a machine than their free weight counter part.

Personally I say stick to free weights. If you want to go really heavy and have no spotter, a machine will fit your need. Otherwise, free weights builds the muscle faster from my personal experience.

  • I like how you always end it with him on the stairmaster haha.

  • @MinimeDrummerBoi haha, well.. thats what he does every workout but I don't think you want to watch him do cardio for 40 minutes. lol. Its almost like filming paint dry.

  • @HanhChampion hi, is is good to do a full workout every other day? My goal is to get lean and well defined muscle and also should i start my workout with cardio or end wid cardio?

  • you should call this the road to europa!

  • man..if i was even half as buff as him.. :\

  • Glorious.

  • MAN WHERES FRANK

  • hanh, when working on legs, do you worry if your butt gets too big? or does the body eventually even out in proportionally. cause ive been doing legs for a couple of months now and my butt is getting pretty big

  • and should i start my workout wid cardio or end my workout wid cardio?

  • I want to see this dudes schoulder workout..

  • wow no one is at the gym

  • @JoYoNoMeNow

It's the best environment to lift. There's no hot chicks wearing spandex shorts to distract you by doing stiff legged deadlifts with 5 lbs dumbbells, right in front of you, while you're doing Incline DB press. You know what I mean?

  • is there anything for arms besides dumbells?

  • @thatsumoguy

    Underhand pullups.

    Barbells.

Keep arm workouts simple, no need for anything fancy.

  • @NtrMssion cheers, i already do 2 of them, i guess ill just have to do more :D

  • @thatsumoguy Big arms =

    -Workout arms once per week

-Concentrate on triceps more than biceps

-Do not overwork your arms, keep the weights high, and the reps low, the workout should be brief and intense.

-To get thicker arms, make sure to incorporate Deadlifts and Squats into your program (seperate days)

^ This is just a suggested format, not a "be-all, end-all" program that you should follow. Experiment and find what is right for you! Goodluck!

  • @NtrMssion really? how do squats and deadlifts give you bigger arms? i do squats once a week

  • @iscratchmybutt

If your squats increase, your benching will increase, which would put size on your triceps - arms.

Compound exercises are a must if you want to gain strength and size.

    -Benching

    -Deadlifts

    -Squats

    ^ All three are essential.

Also, I'm not sure if pullups count as a compound exercise, but you should also incorporate that into your program as well.

Lastly, it's not about the workouts themselves, food plays an enormous factor in bodybuilding. Just checkout Hanh's blog.

  • @NtrMssion Anything that works more than 1 body section is pretty much a compound so yes, pull ups is a great compound exercise.

  • @NtrMssion thanks for the info, ill get started straight away :D

  • fancy ass lockers

  • @2:37 What muscle does that excersise work out?

  • @gaeta34 triceps

  • @gaeta34 Triceps

  • how many sets and reps does he do in each workout?

  • I could masturbate to this if I WAS GAY lol.

  • resident evil music at the end

  • awesome stuff man, your boy is jack3d!

  • I like these videos haha keep it up!

  • @HanhChampion how tall is he? tell him good luck!!

  • What's his height?

  • @loosey5 161. He says it at the begining of the first part to this vid.

  • damn, i wonder how andrew would look like at 180 or 190

  • @rzheng3489 you're a big faggot

  • the stair masters man! LOL

  • So. Much. Volume. Hahn have you ever experimented with hitting the same muscle 2x a week? BBers like Layne Norton encourage this.

  • @MajorMelon

This is what I do and it works great for me (pushpull periodized heavy and light twice a week) but some people benefit better from more volume and less frequency.

  • @riddleman65 Yeah i'm on a Push/Pull/Lower routine at the moment. Works great for me.

  • i wish the gym i go to is this empty..lol

  • @seasonsxoxo OMG i know right? whatever gym hanh goes to is always relatively empty...How?

  • @seasonsxoxo They opened it just for us to film. So it was only 3 of us :)

  • @seasonsxoxo

it's not usually that empty. It's probably cause of summer.

I used to go to school there and it's for the most part really full most other days and in the afternoon too.

good gym, good equpiment, but too too congested at times. They even have a cool computer station downstairs.

  • thats a nice ass gym.

  • ay HANH. nice filming and editing

  • hanh.. i can't find his youtube account..

  • If you google him and go to the bodybuilding website, it says he's 5ft 5inches tall. But that was when he first started so i'd imagine he'd be a little taller by now.

  • <3 luvin the pedo smile at the end <3

  • BEAST MODE FTW!!!

  • feasting and beasting.

  • WHAT A BEAST!
