@v28 Hi. I got this a few weeks ago, after watching nickname2002's video (Thank you guys !!!). It takes about 3 hours to put together, if you don't take any breaks. I'd say the longest was building the crane and actually laying out the track (quite a bit of it). But once you have it set up it's really fun to play with or just watch. I actually fell asleep one time watching it and it ran for about 9 hours overnight. I found it struggling around a corner in the morning but it was still going.

I want to commend you all on how great the videos are. I never get tired of watching them. I'm starting to get back into Legos at 43 y/o, mainly because of the trains. Guess we never grow up. I want to get the Passenger Train #7897 plus the 2 Cargo Train sets. Hey, man this is great. I am stationed in Kosovo and we were at another camp that had a German PX and I was board so I bought all the LEGOs they had on the shelf and now I am hooked. Told my wife we are in trouble because I have a new addiction. Maybe I can get her addicted too. I actually bought seperate pieces and one happens to be a train platform for a lowboy trailer I built. I have bought a second hand set of this train for my son. I have inserted 6 x AA-batteries in the buttom of the train. The train moves very slowly and almost stops when it reach a curve. It's like if the 6 x AA-batteries are not power enough. Have I missed anything? Extra batteries somewhere else?
