The truth is that humans think of all animals as worthless, be they pets, livestock, or wildlife, and we abuse all of them. Yes, our farm animals are tortured, but so are our pets, and neither one should have priority over the other. If you care about cows, fine. Do something to help them. Just make sure you don't stop caring about the others in the process... it's easy for people to do that.

This is so sad. Poor little mites. The mum is just beautiful. This is one downside of going abroad when you're not used to seeing it. Where ever I've been on my hols I've seen these sights - it's very sad but unfortunately you can't help them all - there's so many feral cats in the world. When i went to Cyprus a few years ago in 3 days i saw atleast 2 dead dogs on the road. My heart really felt for the poor dogs. Its the same in China they mistreat poor little animals like these. It was horrific for homeless cats and dogs in Greece, too. I still have nightmares about that place. They were starving, and people were so mean to them. I spent all my money trying to feed them. Can't believe (an entire culture of ) people can be so horrible.

I rescued a stray that looks a little like the mommy here and it gave birth to 3 cutest kittens. I also feed a stray cat and kitten but i think someone took it's kitten away by now cause I saw the cat alone. It's so hard watching this. It made me sad to see the strays at my place but at least they're in better condition. :( I feel so sad for the cats in the video

I just found 11 cats in an abandoned house (my neighbour just moved without taking her animals). Seven were tiny kittens. Only 2 adults were strong enough to be saved, one of which I adopted. It was just heartbreaking to see them in such a bad condition. I know exactly how you would have felt, those cats in Cyprus really need your help. I had to go and advertise that we were offering FREE parvo vaccinations for puppies.. I did door-knocking and saw animals in shocking conditions (we went to rougher neighbourhoods though) and they couldn't be bothered vaccinating their pups/dogs even though we were offering it for free, and Parvo KILLS. :-( Humans suck, we are really.. the lowest of all creatures.
