They'd never do anything like this nowadays for three reasons: 1. there is no one suitable anymore in the world pro wrestling to do something like this. 2. it just doesn't fit in these times of reality tv & trash entertainment. 3. it wouldn't be popular with today's fans it would be considered too boring & conservative.
What was with Piper barely ever wrestling during those day?, all he did was hang around McMahon and commentate, I wonder if it was becuase he had creative control over his contract and said no to a lot of the things McMahon wanted him to do or was it because of an injury?
Absolute gold by Heenan at 0:41 as Piper starts a serious point, he is looking under the table up Piper's kilt.....classic Heenan with comedy gold when you least expect it.
im trying to find the one where heenan tell perfect that they take orders from flair, and then heenan slapped perfect in the face ,the whole table was shocked, someone whistled , someone said wowwww, and then perfect got up and grabbed heenan, and heenan was a bitch apologising to perfect....anyone else remember?
I have to hand it to McMahon. Few people could both run the WWF and spend so much time on camera, espically as it got so much bigger after 1985. OTOH, when I saw him get so involved in matches in the 2000s I wondered who he was trying to impress. Still, had a guy like him been in charge of GM the same time period we would not know what a Toyota is.
ROFL. I miss Prime Time. Favorite memory Hulk Hogan chasing Bobby the Brain through the WWF headquarters on his motorcycle. And how can I forget the kidnapping of Lord Alford Hayes III by Slaughter and the Iraqis. "I see a golden arch" ROFL.
WWF Prime Time was a great show. The panel and all that. It really created the allusion that it was all real...like an NFL pregame show or something. Vince was great at hosting these shows.

People say Hogan made the WWF but Heenan made it fun to watch and kept you glued to the shows like nobody else could.

@KennethKaniffFromCT : They should do this before PPVs. If you were going to do a show like this today, who would you put on the panel? I got a list.
Jim Ross (as host)
Matt Striker
Jerry Lawler
CM Punk
Booker T
