  • where r u the only things i hear r helicopters and radios n stuff??????

  • @madknifeman...good then when you die ill take your knife, hatchet, and matchete lol I agree that too much gear is a bad idea but you need a little more than just the above tools to give yourself a real edge to survive.

  • nice video and nice kit. what was the first aid kit mounted on ur belt? is that military surplus? where'd you get it? thanks!

  • @zackcat276 Sorry for the confusion. That opening shot was of my vehicle FAK at the time. A seven by five, or so, pelican box with things I collected. The one on my belt was an eighties era military, which I got rid of as it is too small, bulky and not waterproof. I use waterproof bag styles now (like in my other video), that can go in your pocket, like the ones USNERDOC sells.

  • You didn't really have to much hygiene stuff like toothbrushes and soap ect. Why didn't you commentary cat got your tounge?

  • You forgot toilet paper.

  • love the video, very good job :) im thinking about making one to, im only 12 but still i think it would be a good idea, also nice idea with the mosquito net :)

  • @jeffhardy94100 Thanks, I started mine when I was about your age. Good Luck!

  • @Gorntz cool,thanks :)

  • put some pouches on that MOLLE!

  • lol a condom

  • i think that all that stuff is just extra gear in my mind all you need is a good knife, hatchet, machete, and a bag to carry everything else in that you find thats worth something in a survival situation im going straight bare instincts mode so that you have no fear no hate, love extricate all emotions to how do i survive.

  • Couple advices, you keep a lot on the outside of the backpack. If you really need your stuff like that, get a webbing, or other thing. And secondly, I noticed your gloves are unused. You'd wanna break in all your equipment, and get used to it, not keep it mint condition.

  • And thanx it was my first vid

  • And thanx it was my first vid

  • Otherwise it's a great vid and I learned some things

  • Great vid man but I suggest another primary rife like and ar15

  • @Bdoog43 Good idea. I will.

  • Whats with the jet taking off at 2:35

  • That looks good, If I could suggest an add a Hatched & a tarp would be useful as well.

  • nice vid....but happens if you get separated from your backpack which is attached to your belt....i have the same backpack but also have the web belt and vest just in case i have to ditich the backpack i got stuff on me on me intill i get an other primary..yeah its heavyer but you get use to it and with vest i got more space in my backpack

  • too heavy

  • nice vid!

  • 16 ppl cant survive

  • BRAH EVEN THO YOU HAVE ALL THAT COOL SURVIVAL SHIT AND WHAT NOT.YOU ONLY HAVE "ONE" FUCKIN HANDGUN.THERE GONNA GET YOUR ASS BEFORE U GET A CHANCE TO WALK OUT THE FUCKING DOOR

  • do you know were i can buy a new tension wrench for my lockpick set

  • @thedomandrayshow Southord(dot)com

  • @Gorntz i have 1 hunting store, 1 camping store and 1 gun store i alswasy go to to get my zombie stuff, but i need a lock pic set, know where i can get 1?

  • @ZombieSurvival360 Southord(dot)com

  • @Gorntz thanks

  • condoms lols!

  • where did u get the lockpicks

  • @samwisescalf Southord(dot)com

  • @Gorntz thanks

  • ptsd?

  • If that's only enough for 72 hours then I'm screwed

  • what type of backpack is that????

  • @heinz411 It's a Condor cheapo.

  • What does your bag weigh and what are the ear plugs for? Thanks.

  • @sgtdarkness1 This vid is almost two years old and that setup is no more. Sorry I didn't weigh it at the time. I usually load water last and as much as I can tolorate. Hearing protection for sleeping in noisy shelters, barracks, aircraft, etc, operating in the vicinity of heavy weapons, equipment etc.,

  • What does your bag weigh?

  • Now that is a serious kit :P VERY nice ^^

You could survive a long time with that kit. Only two things missing,

12 gage shotgun semi or pump - Very good and versatile weapon.

And some sunglasses or a cap/some other hat or both.

  • Good vid.

  • IMHO , this is far beyond a 72 hour kit . just a few observations . For 72 hours it shouldn't take more than 2 of those MRE's stripped down . ration 1000-1300 calories/day in an emergency situation till you can secure externally found food sources. Ditch the MRE heaters in favor of Hexamine tablets or a bar or two of trioxane. Too much bulk and weight. Wrap maybe 10 feet of duct tape around half an old debit card and ditch the rest. Add a smaller knife/folder and lighter. Add an extra magazine.

  • what radio is that

  • Are you on a base or did u just add the helicopter sounds?

  • @running594 They are added.

  • Hey man, In SHTF-WROL I would leave the Blackberry behind or take the battery out..It is a tracking device, even when powered off..The only way to be safe is with the power source completely out "Battery". Kind of scary to think of but true enough..Just something to think about.

  • personal the way my crib is set up i have 4 exit and 2 are high up and i have a ladder roll for those and then i have my front door which is locked up and my basement double which has a door on the out side and door on the inside and the door to my basement is well re-enforced same as my front and basement doors and ive tested tyhem theres no getting in and easy getting out but i have a "couple guns" and "a lil ammo" but i think ill be better off then this guy and most people

  • what about a real gun

  • This seems like a lot of stuff for just 72 hours. Kill small game and you could probably survive for a week or maybe even more with all your stuff. Great stuff though, I especially like that emergency crank radio.

I'm been building up my own BOB over time but I'm just an unemployed college student. I've collected things to provide safe drinking water, food, navigation, flashlights, stuff to try and keep me dry, and extra socks and underwear.

Any suggestions as to what I should get next?

  • @LaughingHighWayMan Comfort is king. If you don't have it already, I would gather the items in my other video (SERE KIT). In a SHTF senerio water purification will be most important.

  • Great sound fx...

  • You!~Yes you! ~ Stand still laddie! ;-) Bring it on!

  • This has got to be one of the best 72 hr bags I've seen on the Tube---Thank your sir for posting this---you've inspired me to make some changed to my system....

  • outside your house sounds like all hell broke lose. scary.

  • Great gear!! five stars man!!!

  • @giutoniolo Thank you sir! Coming from a pro like yourself, I am honored.

  • hes a dog

  • why not speak:/

  • Comment removed

  • @MrKevinSmokey It's a cheap Condor brand Three Day Assault Pack. They are all over the internet.

  • the sound of that chopper always makes me nervous like i want to remain still and camo myself or something lol

  • U have a good idea, but i so get a car so the jurney is so hard on ur back

  • Only one weapon ? You should have more than that. At list an AR or any rifle and a back up pistol. That kel should be your second back up pistol. But other then that great shit.

  • i wouldnt like to have a pistol in my ass pocket just incase lol

  • Comment removed

  • Very cool bag!love it

  • is there a lot of zombies where you live mate

  • why is your flag inverted? the US flag?

  • @YouDiddntSeeAnything Right shoulder, flag reversed. The stars always lead.

  • @Gorntz oh okay, thankyou :)

  • @Gorntz stars closer to your heart ;)

  • I'm so glad this isn't some guy with like nothing costing over $1 and everything still being in pack. They are so anoying. With their stupid voices and them trying to justify stupid things like super glue

  • @hiimmitchable actually super glue was invented during the vietnam conflict for closing small wounds in the field. and whats wrong with it being cost effect if it works for them?

  • that yellow patch is a target on your shoulder...in more ways than one

  • I liked the charger on the crank radio. Nice addition.

  • Outstanding and to the point!

  • finally !

all the other youtubers that does this survival thingy is a fat LOSER

    you are not

  • i am easily not impress but ur prep had definately impressed me good stuff....

  • Nice pack, I would make it so I could stay indef. though.... because no problem is going to be over in 72 hours

  • @BushcraftSoutheast Thanks, Ilike your vids also. This is actually some core stuff taken from my full loadout pack, I put together just for the 72hr theme. I haven't gotten around to doing a vid on the full loadout.

  • get some bump keys and call it good

  • ammo you need more than 1 clip

  • TOILET PAPER where is your TOILET PAPER?

  • i would recommend braking the mres down by removing outer bag and cardboard inside and putting in a bag

  • Comment removed

  • @MrKevinSmokey Check out "bepreparedtosurvive(dot)com". They have whole kits, components, and containers.

  • @Gorntz or ims surplus

  • Very pro video...no doubt you must be in army or similar services...

After the regular EDC videos this comes like a fresh breath.

    Cheers!

  • good job and i really like the dont terd on me patch

  • ur screwed with that 1 tiny gun

  • where did u buy that solar radio that can charge things by usb

  • @TheiTouchGuys The Sportsman's Guide

  • feild strip those mres and it wont weigh as much and there wont be as bulky

  • only 1 knife?? you can never have enough knives!

  • Lookin good patriot-the only tip that comes to mind-Look into that new Gorilla brand tape-I keep duct tape around-but after picking up some G tape-its pretty impressive stuff-

  • @Jeenyus1983 Thanks! I do have some now, in both widths. It is impressive stuff.

  • y dont you get a phone or a gps

  • @grsscttrbrdy The Blackberry cell phone in the video had GPS. This video is now a year old and should be updated. Also, I now have a Droid cellphone (my other video) which has GPS turn by turn, compass, Star mapping and APRS.

  • @Gorntz i have a questoin what the fuck are mres i just pack canned food and bars and gunz and etc but i have no idea what mres are sorry -.-

  • @manlazy602 Google it.

  • @manlazy602 Meals Ready to Eat.

  • @manlazy602 MEALS READY TO EAT

a solider in the field 1 a day meal

  • @mansonfollower15 cool but i have a bad feeling bout eating a 2 year old pasta

  • @manlazy602 dont i got tons of mre's theyre delicoius and mine are like 7 year old and never hurt me

thats why im eating em they only suppose to last about 10yrs so im eating my stock to replace!!

    dont worry there perfectly safe

  • @mansonfollower15 Ok whats the good ones? and were do u get them?

  • @manlazy602 my personal fav is the chili mac and pasta with meat sauce

you can get them fresh online but they cost quite a bit

youre best bet for getting them cheap is a gun show or some type of tactical gear exchange of some sort

  • @mansonfollower15 How much onlie if it is like 10$ each its ok if it is over like 15$ mabye not and yumm chili mac

  • @manlazy602 about 11 apiece

and yes the chilli mac IS SO GOOD

  • @manlazy602 I think i can afforad that i eat meals everday that cost from 5-20$ dollars... and btw what pistol do u reommcnd that has a laser sight

  • @manlazy602 MRE = Meal Ready to Eat, just add water and wait 10 minutes, and it'll cook.

  • At 4:53 I heard Knoxville mentioned on the radio scanner. I live about 15 minutes away, lol.

  • nice video :)

  • I really like the amount of food you packed because thats something alot of people get wrong

Yeah you can live a month or more without food. Blah blah blah but if your lugging all that gear and burning calories in a stressful situation. Lack of food is going to make you feel like snot and lead to a weakened immune system.

A big plus is even if you don't need all the food you have the ability to provide for someone else.

Packing food in a plastic tote box with wheels for bug out vehicles = Win

  • @ViolentKisses87 Thanks, they are good for barter and mercy too.

  • I watch these videos of people reviewing/emptying out their bobs and always thought it would be funny for shit to go off outside whilst their well packed gear is all thrown about the room. lol

Also nice video and gear love the labels but wouldn't mind some speaking as well even if its dubbed over after the review :3

The Choppers overhead really added alot to the video :D

  • are you mute

  • boonie hat=automatic win

  • Good job. i like the sound effects

  • Strip the mre s save room for good stuff that are in them then tape the packages to together saves room.. in your pack

  • nice vid and i like the choppers and background noise:)

  • If your married could yu please do this again but include your wifes reaction to the mess? lol...

  • @CPLBSS88 One of these days I'm going to pick it all up ;)

  • wtf weres the aa12?

  • nice video, but the choppers and scanner are annoying

  • ditch the MRE's go for Mountain house - lighter and less odor. Food odor will draw unwanted attention. 75% of your stuff is just unnecessary weight and won't help in a survival situation. If anyone saw you with all this you would be a target.

  • Dude u got too much stuff

U don't "need" alot of that stuff

Try minimalist, remember all that bulk is gonna make you slower than me and remember that how to outrun a bear thing same applies here, u just gotta be faster than the guy next to u

  • @jellis359 Dude, It's better to have and not need, than need and not have. It only takes a second to drop stuff.

  • @Gorntz but it takes forever to lug around. id personally rather run around with a 20lb. pack rather than a 40lb. pack just to drop stuff later

  • @csmitty101 Your choice. I threw together what I would want for a forced relocation on foot for at least 72 hours, in a scenario where there would be hundreds or thousands of other people marching, or on troop transports, to a safe area that would be crowded with people. Any spare room in the pack, I fill with MREs and water. I have a SERE kit (video) as my everyday carry. It's less than twenty pounds. What would you leave out?

  • @Gorntz the lockpicking kit, a lot out of the first aid kit, the hat, the ear plugs, mosquito net, break down mres (u got that), ditch the water filter and replace it with tablets (or boil it, but thats just me), the trowel (use your knife since its plastic and the metal will work just as well as long as its kept clean), tarp clamps/hooks, light stick cover, gi compass, the extra tape (spin some around a pencil), the large mos net, the large radio for a smaller one.

  • @csmitty101 Thanks for the input. I think I would like a smaller SW radio.

  • @Gorntz well money's tight right now so the radio isn't a huge deal. plus keep in mind this is just my opinion as i am a pretty small guy so i like to keep my packs pretty small. for example i just weighed mine with 3 days of food and 2 days of water and it came in around 18 lbs. so i'm a pretty big minimalist. i can also see where the water filter is useful, i just never had the money or patience for one when you can just boil it for 4 minutes.

  • @csmitty101 Ditch the cover, ears, mosquito bar and water filter??? You don't know what you are talking about. It's not about going through BK drive through on the way home from airsoft.

  • @DROPTHETROLLS how much does that water filter weigh? all those items just take up space with limited or very sparse use. the water filter i can understand, however it still weighs plenty when there are camelbacks with built in filters that weigh much less. i do prefer to boil my water since fires are almost always a must have in camp and it literally takes 5 minutes with a fire. btw, as an eagle scout and high adventure trekker, i do know what im talking about.

  • @csmitty101 You think it would be easier to boil a gallon of water a day ???

  • @Gorntz takes a second to drop it, but it takes days more to carry it.

    -think small.

  • Is that Motorola GP68 a UHF or VHF?

  • @389Lee That one is VHF. Says so in the vid right under GP68 :)

  • @Gorntz Yes, I know what it said. I went on EBAY and all the GP68's I saw were UHF. I just wanted confirmation. Thanks for replying back.

  • @389Lee The only way to tell them apart is that the antenna on the VHF is about twice as long. I have one of each.

  • Why so many MREs one can last you a day and even two if need be ... but if you are supplying a family then i understand

  • do plan on going into the woods looks like you could live out there i live in kansas in a small twon so im just going to my local gun store and then going around town but i do have a definder 12ga, 3006 bolt action, .410 for some stlye kills

  • @dekota94 Yep, I'm going to the woods.

  • good thing zombies didnt break out right then and there :P You would have been unprepared!

  • i made a bag that was pretty much for fun. i put a can of spray cheese in there and found the bag a year later, it was edible....but prolly make you sick lol

  • I'm about to spray cheese just thinking about it. ;)

  • very nice kit. ihave the same multi tool sog para tool so your fom gainsville pretty cool im in orlando one question wheres your long gun?

  • Hey. I use a RRA AR15 midlength heavy barrel with a DD freefloat and Magpul CTR stock. ACOG and Aimpoint optics. After dark, I prefer an Ithica M37 12ga. I may do a vid on weapons support gear, but there are plenty of vids on the actual weapons.

  • hey man where did u get that radio for charging usb stuff

  • It's a Kaito Voyager from Sportsman's Guide. They have a video on it too.

  • No guns? ):

  • The black thing I pulled out of my back pocket is a gun. ;)

  • As this is a "Zombie" BOB, you omitted the requisite machete for choppin' off zed heads!

I recommend the Cold Steel Magnum Kukri, it's only around 17oz.

  • @sae1095hc A fine recommendation! I also failed to mention extra antiseptic wipes I carry for those occasions ;)

  • looks like you got it all figured out very well.

    5/5

  • dont fergit ur entrenching tool! makes a good last stand hooplehead deespatcher when all else fails.

  • I have one with jagged saw teeth on one side. I'm sure it will do a number on those hoopleheads! ;)

  • breaking down ur mres into a smaller and therefore lighter package is what we did. no need for 8 plastic wrapped spoons and the other useless shit like the package itself!

  • @echelonexcursions Thanks, This is covered in previous comments.

  • wow great video

  • Wish i had one of those GP68's.Nice kit!!!

  • @erm9173 Good luck locating one. The ones from Hong Kong on Ebay are remade from surplus parts. One local guy on ebay is selling a UHF pair but doesn't say if they are modded or not. Looks like a radio shop so they probably are. Bid is at $100.00 so far.

  • Where did you find that canteen cover? It is in like new condition?Awesome! Mine are really faded, worn,NO HOLES,or tares! It appears to be one of the canvas M67 type! I have several ! Wouldnt be without them at all !

  • @ppspsd Thanks, I've had it for decades. I have two others that have the canteen cup wear and tear. The alice clips aren't so rough with a padded belt.

  • @Gorntz LBE system is the only way to go in my opinion,if one single part fails,or wears out, just repair or replace it!! This new (molle) gear, not a fan and this opinion is based on experience, the vest fails you are in a jam and fast all your gear and (LIFE) is in jeopardy good thing I carry a good amount of 100mph tape,(IT) SAVED MY BACON!! Good thing I saved my 3 trunks of LBE its back in service!!Good old reliable system,I will (NEVER) GO BACK!!

  • @ppspsd I hear you brother. I have a MOLLE II vest, and prefer the H harness with belt pad. Those zipper vest are also too hot and bulky with a ruck. I also wouldn't be wearing body armour, a plate carrier or a helmet unless I'm expecting incoming grenades, mortars or IEDs, which is like 0% possibility (famous last words).

  • I love how all of your gear is perfectly clean because you have never tested it. Looks like a recipe for disaster. Better than nothing.

  • Glad you're uh, loving it. Sorry it's not beat up enough for ya sport, but it's kinda new. Yeah, it's a little better than nothing?!?

  • Impressive loadout! I was curious about your shirt? Is it a military issue item or custom made (from a mil spec item)? Either way I want one! I also dig the Victor Hotel Foxtrot Golf Papa sixty eight! Great video

  • Thanks. They have those shirts in every color at US Calvery they are mil spec but not US made so don't try to pass inspection in one. I also have a Golf Papa six eight in Uniform Hotel Foxtrot. Fully modded of course. I got them at Dayton about five years ago.

  • @Gorntz

I'll check it out, thanks. Gotta love Dayton for the commo! Keep up the great videos!

  • @radiorepair I found that locating those shirts on the USCalvery website was difficult. If you go there and type in "299" in the search box, it brings up those uniforms. FYI

  • dude awesome rig but you should definately break down those mre's that would save you weight and room.

  • the only problem would be haulin all that stuff around the the blackberry would be use less after a week or 2 because in a break out whos gonna run the internet but other than that very nice

  • Super set up....★★★★★

  • all those MRE's for a 72hr bag? Shit that is more like a 7 day bag

  • Is that a Rush Backpack?
