  • he palms the pick,,,for those interested

  • Happy Birthday, Sean! Back at the source from which you came, cosmic brilliance.

  • magnifique

  • Just learned about Sean, can't stop watching his videos. What a great, great player and musician. What a shame he died.

  • What a talent! It is a heartbreak he is no longer with us...RIP!

  • @anthonypepitoneVideo Indeed. Quite a skilled guy :P RIP Sean.

  • All I gotta say is THIS is a Northside song through and through. I can picture the most beautiful crowd in the world dancin to this RIP Sean.

  • guitariste trop vite disparu ,très bons albums

  • Im sure the rest of the band is awesome, but i didnt really heard them over the soul of his guitar... Drive on

  • Damn this cat played the best, tastiest guitar ever!!! Love his playing! RIP

  • Damn he was so good.... Love this guys music. RIP Thanks for posting this awesome vidoe Anthony.

  • hes was the real deal. as funky as you can get.

  • Alright big sugar rules. Nice ol 54 or 55 Lespaul Nice

  • He;'s hot stuff...

  • Sexy. He's so raw here, and I find it open and attractive. You can feel his energy through his music.

  • He is definitely using a pick. He keeps it tucked away underneath his middle finger while he isn't using it. The awkward hand movement at about 4:20 implies that he has just put it away.

  • @colberrrt awkward yet so smooth...no one would've noticed if you hadn't pointed it out. That guy was sooooo good.

  • Watching this video at least once a week is very good for the soul!

  • @Noitpure Listening to this song by All Green at least once a week is very good for the soul

  • Fantastic song. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to hear this.

  • Wow, Ican listen to this song all the time and never get tired. Too bad I didn`t discover Sean earlier...

  • This guy would've made it huge if he was still around.

  • agreed

  • My absolute favorite video, song, artist ever posted freakin kicks but literally.Better than original version by far more raw and intense.Love It

  • Sean really kicked this songs ass.I mean that in the most literal terms I could ever meanit .The original had horns which is fine but I think just Sean's hot raw sounding guitar playing sounds so much better with out the horns.Awesome post my favorite video on youtube period, thanx a million

  • Ya he's playing through an ampeg gemini. Killer amp

  • I got a Ampeg J-112 Reverb-O-Jet today. They make really nice guitar amps.

  • No he's not?

As far as I know he was play a Virbolux on the Living Room gigs.

  • Encore un de plus au paradis des musiciens ... décidemment la vie d'artiste est là-haut in the skies

  • I just "discovered" Sean a few months back... RIP Sean

  • Man his singing! His guitar playing!! He coulda been like a SRV figure bringing blues to the bluesless. It's shame....

  • Such a shame, an increidble talent that died far too young. RIP, Sean.

  • R.I.P. DUDE

  • Rest in pease Sean

  • R.I.P. Sean ... You will always be remembered :-(

  • That was fucking awesome!

  • oh, sean is magic allright*L*

  • ca you believe this guy?

    awesome

  • I don't think he is using a pick at all - but it does look like it as he is holding his index finger and thumb together as if he were holding a pick. Anyway, that's my theory! I'm particularly amazed at the rapid upstroking of the strings near the end - that's what really made me post this tune.

  • He's using raw flesh on steel like Albert King and Hubert Sumlin. Great voice...this guy should've gained the recognition that was given to John Mayer. Just read the autopsy report. What a terrible waste...

  • When reading the autopsy report you also should know, Sean had Bipolar disorder. Study's show that many creative people had bipolar disorder. You can donate to: The Sean Costello Fund for Bi-Polar Research.

  • and I'm sure Sean didn't want to leave in that manner it was a tragic mistake. Living with Bi-Polar must have been like hell on earth. I wish by some miracle he could have been helped. I pray for his Mom and family.

  • @anthonypepitoneVideo He uses a pick when he was playing close to the bridge. Notice how he could get a bright sound even when he was on the neck pickup. Also the later half of his solo he used his pick. He just keeps it on reserve in between his fingers when he needs it. The guy had incredible feel.

  • @clehneis Yes, you are right.

  • @anthonypepitoneVideo Watch closely, He uses a pick sometimes and then VERRY quickly tucks it away and uses his fingers..

  • @FenderBassman155 You're right - I've known that for quite some time. It's tricky to catch him in the act however.

  • Where in the heck does he pick up that pick when he plays the main lick? Cause he is playing with his fingers but sometimes he has a little pick in his hands...looks like a magic trick to me.

  • cool groove. pickless guitar playing is way to go.
