I had heard this wonderful thumri of Fariha for the first time only a few days ago on You Tube which was uploaded by cheecheepia. I had some reservations about the word 'rama' being replaced by 'piya'. But cheecheepia is very broad minded and he went to the extent of writing that FARIHA IS NOT A NARROW MINDED GIRL and this substitution must have been done by some other person. Fariha please remain broad minded always and through music promote peace between India and Pakistan.
