Halsey when on Onyx. meaning it was protection from the flood and the Halo rings that the Forerunners never got to! for two there were so many sentinals on onyx no flood would of survived!  you want to know why?........ The scariest moment in any Halo was during the Silent Cartographer in CE, you're going down that dark hallway and then the Golden Elite jumps out and yells BLAHAHLAH and wrecks your shit with his awesome sword that blows up after he dies(?)

Arg. The Flood. The only times the Flood have ever been any fun, at all, were in the Floodgate Halo 3 level and possibly this game. Otherwise I haven't enjoyed fighting these guys.

you can use carpet bomb to kill a few brutes in the beginning and the invincible Spartans will arrive and kill them all for you

Heroic and Legendary are really hard, as some levels will have the covenant drop in reinforcements via multiple dropships whenever you start beating the existing forces on the ground.

Also, Hunters dodge more bullets then 50 cent, you press Y for an entire army of Marines and hit nothing but air.

This level is easy. Just get hornets. And/or flamethroweres. Keep elephants alive, base well rounded and this level is cake.

You don't really even have to touch your base at all; the 4-star ODST squads and the Spartans can easily take care of everything by themselves.

Though, yeah, Hornets, Scorpions, or Gausshogs also do the job extremely well.
