  • Nope slow loss is not just for those under 200, but i appreciate your honesty in your vids, I too had high expectations before i started HCG based on vlogs i was watching. yours are the most real and I am experiencing your same path only worse. I'm on day 10 and i've lost 5.6 total and that was hard to come by.

  • It's almost like the worse your case of obesity (mine is bad) the harder it is for ANY plan to help us, EVEN hcg.

    At least you are at average weight loss for a female- 1/2 lb a day.

  • Remember, Dr. Simeon says in the Protocol that as long as you follow the diet, you WILL burn fat but WATER can go into the cell as fat comes out and it doesn't show on the scale.

    UP you PROTEIN, if u need extra calories.

  • Stop experimenting, read pounds and inches again., it tells you not to experiment., I know that it was written more than 50yrs ago., but it took him 15 yrs of research to find out that Hcg works.. It works., it's hard., but it's also worth it..

    Give it a real try this time., don't deviate from it we woman average about 1/2 lb a day.. check your Hcg to see how potent it is.. i'm really sorry if I sound harsh .I really don't mean anything bad with this I just want to help U!!!!

  • Don't get discouraged things will turn around.. just be patient.. stress may cause you to not lose 2., anyway take care.. cuidate mucho!

  • well, mommy. I did give it a "real" try this time. I only started experimenting the last week or so and they were things which worked well for others, but my losses have been inconsistent from the start before any experimentation. My expectations were high bc that's how hcg is represented by its enthusiasts and only I can decide if it is worth it to ME. You dont sound harsh and I appreciate that you care.

  • I understand about the high expectations on HCG. My sister and I were the same before we started the protocol last year, I would stay up late watching all of the hcg videos here on youtube, watching everyone get skinny right in front of my eyes.I wanted that 2 ,Then reality set in started the diet and everything turn around I was hungry, moody, my legs were hurting, couldn't raise my arms without them hurting.but it worked.

  • I am exhausted on HCG. I can't do a whole lot of moving around without feeling very tired and like I may fall or passout. I have been taking Zip Fizz which is a 5 calorie healthy alternative to an energy drink. No sugar and I think it has helped to improve my energy levels. So we definitely need some type of supplement either a daily vitamin or something else that works for you.

  • See, thank you. You admit to feeling the same way and I appreciate it. I already take plenty of vitamins. Caffeine helps the fatigue but it is supposedly so bad for you. Well you gotta pick you battles. Thanks.

  • For women 1/2 a pound a day is average. We just have way too much water retention compared to men.... it sucks so bad, but it's especially bad during TOM. I was STARVING for the first two days of my last TOM... so it's totally ok to up your calories a bit. I am so sorry you are so frustrated. You are right, HCG is challenging! I think you have done so great despite your stalls. It is worth it.

  • Yep, Jenny, I learned we dont lose that fast after the fact. Still, I would have probably done this hcg thing regardless. I am just frustrated and maybe I do need to up the calories on work days. Bc it really shouldn't be THIS hard. No one else on here logs that they are too exhausted to move after work. This has been on going. Thanks for listening.

  • Dr. S suggests not exercising during protocol. Your job is so physical and demanding on your body that maybe it is not using your abnormal fat fast enough to keep up with the demand. So you feel exhausted. If I were you, I would up my calories to 800. Have a veggie omelette for breakfast. Stick to protocol food. Lessofme1 said her husband sucessfully lost on hcg with more calories and working out at the gym. Don't give up, just alter it to fit your life style and your bodies need. Chin up :)

  • You can go up to 800 calories I believe. They say if you up your calories it should be with protein. Blame everything on TOM, even the camera acting up LOL.

  • hey girlie, I think that the pound a day is really for men. Don't be discouraged, things should pick up after TOM
