  • to all the so called critics, and those filled with critisism versus encouragement:

    I love you...still!

  • I just listened to her latest album 'flavors of ..' so BAD. She's devolved into gibberish.

  • @jname96 Gibberish? Or you simply don't have a good grasp on english. Don't fault Alanis if your'e too stupid to get her work. (I'm saying this in a general sense for people not just you.)

  • @yancybutler oh wow. i'm so insulted. not.

to each his own. her songs are overly wordy. u can't deny that. and her music tends to ramble without any real melody or tune.

I love Alanis, but not that much. lol.

  • @jname96 Again it wasn't really directed as much as an insult more a statement. She is pretty wordy- but thats kinda why I respect her. It's poetry set to music. Flavors had some really great hooky tracks- Straitjacket (catchiest thing she has ever done.) Versions of violence, Break, The guy who leaves, Orchid...I'm just very surprised that of all her work (Her worst being 2004's sugary so called chaos) you state how bad flavors (which at least has passion.) is.

  • I wanna see an interview of her speaking in French, she has said she is bilingual.

  • alanis looks somewhat pretty here.

  • ha. Alanis is beautiful. All the time.

  • that's so funny they say on IMDB Alanis is fluent in French, that so funny she's doing an interview in English with a francophone reporter.

  • She was fluent in french during her "pop" days. She was almost able to do full interviews in french.

But since jagged little pill , she doesn't want to speak french.

  • probably because living in the states, she stopped using it... that's what happened to me, don't use it and you lose it.

  • @CanadianHorseFace

    Why is that?

  • @TheKenTerry

    @TheKenTerry

I think erinashleyx is right. She stopped using it and lost it. Which is completely understandable.

I saw an interview on a France tv show in 1996 and when she was asked to answer in French, she refused and said she couldn't.

  • I like this..never have seen the canadian side of Jagged Little Pill

  • whoa so interesting! i love the comment about conscious and subconscious.
