I love 70 GTO's and you have got yourself a really nice one. Those flowmasters sound great, and like you say they get louder and deeper the harder you accelerate.

you got that right. i find myself flooring it sometimes just to hear the Flowmasters roar!

the Super 40s have a loud rumble between 1800 and 2000 RPM. the best part is when you're crusing and you see people looking at the car. you then get the RPM up to 2000 so that loud rumble scares them as you go by!

Sounds real good, looks like you kept the stock exhaust tips on your system-which look great. A buddy had a pepper green 70 goat/455HO (YA code), and I had a silver 400/4 speed 70 Goat several years back. nice ride......

Yes, you are correct. I could only find the Flowmasters with the single dual exhaust tips, so i kept the stock ones. Personally i think they look better and i want to keep the car as origional as possible. The Flowmasters make a big difference. With the stock exhaust you could only hear a rumble between idle and 2000 RPM's. Now, the more you rev it the louder it gets! I'm very happy with them. Thanks for the comment!
