fuck this, I can pirate a movie and get it better quality on my laptop than on my "HD" tv. AND it's portable. This stupid commercial is complete lies and is only disney trying to extort more money than they already are those greedy fucking corporate fat cats. For people who still don't understand, piracy is sharing not stealing. It's the same as if you went to a friends house to watch a movie. Just cause you don't own it, does it mean you are stealing it for watching it? Same concept applies.

The corporate who sue "pirates" create films massively, they don't create art. When you create art, you get the actor that best fit the role, not the most famous. When you create art, people will buy your work, because they like it and they would watch it many many times if they could. Even if they downloaded it before somewhere, they'll want to own it. If the media industry can't create movies that are interesting enough to be worth watching twice, its no longer art.

I pirate movies for my children all the time. When they bring out a more reliable medium for my kids movies, I might spend money on the real thing. Till then, I refuse to spend >$10 on a disposable item.

I actually do buy the old VHS Disney movies from op shops. Now they were hardy!

@megawatt62 Download utorrent: it manages your downloaded files. Then download "cheetah burner" or "convertxtodvd", and Google a guide on using them. Then visit "the pirate bay" and search for your favorite games, movies or music. Check comments to make sure you're not getting anything dodgey, then download! Remember to virus check files remembering that some software returns false readings (hence comments help to judge).
