  • Such a beautiful melody

  • Ah! This is from my favorite anime! .Hack//Roots!!

  • The Terror of Eardrums.

Really? is this considered music? a bunch of noise put alltogheter??

Doesnt even resembles a fucking bit to Hack GU`s "The Terror of Death".

So you take a program, click on a bunch of buttons and voilá: DJNoiseShit.

  • @EremesLoki

Isn't all music noises put together?

  • @OhDatRannon

You know what im talking about.

Music is something that needs to be melodic and harmonious. Something that is a bunch of sounds ussually perceived as a single entity.

    -

    Thats the difference between this:

    /watch?v=DOLt_dU-S78&feature=related

    and something like this...

    /watch?v=IO_cFeq7iIE&list=FLF1t0ERo1ZwuJNj0lJYxScg&index=192&feature=plpp_video

  • @EremesLoki

Of course. but technically that's all music is.

Personally, i like this. I love speedcore. It has a constant 4-4 beat to it, and a melodic synth in there that is in time with the beat, and it's in key. Plus, it's mental, and it makes me want to jump around violently. Great stuff! Is isn't on random, it's correct in terms of music.

You see, that last link, it's cheesy as fuck, so i don't like it. But I don't question whether It's music or not.

  • @OhDatRannon ok, maybe ill start hitting trash cans with a baseball bat, add a couple of syntethized sounds and become an artist. (2hs of work tops)

Dont know what "cheesy" is. The second link is music from an old castlevania game.

If you like to say this kind of shit is music, go ahead, i mean, we re all free to love and say anything.

The only shame is that Mr Sharpnel used "The Terror of Death" and sounds from a Hack// (great music) game to do something thats has nothing to do with it.

  • @EremesLoki

I'd love to see you hit that can as quickly and as violently as this song! By the way, do you produce music at all?

It means that it makes me cringe.

Well, I won't call that link shit, just because I don't like it. There's a difference between shit and something that just doesn't suit to your taste. Hence my point, you were implying that this song was random noise, when really, it's completely correct in terms of music; rather than a random car crash of noises.

  • I didn't intend on sleeping tonight as it is.

  • Okay, some part of this HAS to be from Fatal Frame

I've heard like, 12 FF SFX in there. :P

  • I'm a little afraid that this is some sort of japanese mind control. (it's awesome though)

  • The guy who speaks sounds kinda like Itachi from Naruto...

  • this name isnt from the manga that has something to do with the "World"

  • Can anyone link me to a YouTube video where the Haseo samples are from? Just curious is all. Thanks. <3

  • Must kill John Lennon

  • no offence, but this song is FUCKED UP. it's really freakin me out!

  • The intelligent use of strange noises is on par with Nine Inch Nails during the Downward Spiral era. It really instills emotion simply be hearing the sound. This is great.

  • Terrorcore is also allowed to be more erratic and twisted than speedcore. Speedcore is more driving and militaristic, but terrorcore (like this song) can have all these fucked-up slower sections. Not that speedcore can't have these sections, but definitely not to the same extent.

  • this should be on a madness episode...hank just killing away with guns and knifes galore while this song plays....it would be awesome

  • friggin DOT HACK!!!! HASEO FTW!

  • @UberPoofyNintendoChi Inorite! I heard this and I was all like, "TERRRRRRORRRR OF DEATH!!! TIEM TO PKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • @Hartlem *raises twin blades to the sky and shouts "THIS IS THE WOOOOOORLD!"*

  • @ The78thdude the difference is that speedcore is waay faster than terrorcore, hardcore is not scary but hard, i dont know the difference between darkcore and terrorcore. get your facts straight :P juss playin btw

  • wow this good dj sharpnel should make one for the rebirth

  • Comment removed

  • this guy is awesome, his songs are named from the .hack shows. awesome

  • @thecadb8

    No... they are different. =P

  • Side effects: Paranoia; becoming a motherfuckin' serial killer; Worshipping spongebob; etc etc

  • i was almost positive this was fagcore

  • @FlippyMcDoodoo I think we all appreciate how witty that comment was, now why not use that wit for something more useful?

  • @FlippyMcDoodoo Also, Troll harder.

  • Sharpnel needs its own Genre; Epic-core.

  • That song's inspired from .Hack://Gu

He used a lot of sounds, melodies and voices from there, and the title too...

  • awesome song

    :P

  • this makes me think of the movie 'goke , body snatcher from hell' for some reason.. weird movie.. crazy cool song

  • my favorite type would have to be j core no doubt

  • im "new" to techno music i always heard metal before can someone tell something about the diffrent styles and maybe an artist to every style?

  • hardstyle, j-core, trance, techno house, tecktonic, speed core, euro core, darck trance, jump style, electro, happy head bang, happy trance.... well there are so many more but thats all i can think of

  • @DarkApostel666 Well, this here is kinda darkcore-ish.

  • @DarkApostel666 go to my page for sick shit. things from metal/Drum and bass/Industrial Etc. i think you'll find yourself Confused and Quite happy :)

    -Sin

  • what genre of music is this ?

  • I like to call it Deathcore, but I think the proper terms are what SakuraHagarachi down there said. Perhaps it may also be digital hardcore or speedcore.

  • it's not speedcore, it's too slow. pretty sure it's terrorcore.

  • @rawrock7

    yup terrorcore!

    terrorcore from 180 bpm - 2?? bpm

    speedcore 300 bpm - 600 bpm

    grittercore 600 bpm - 1000 bpm

    extratone 1000 and above bpm

  • @FutileExistence i think you meant splittercore

  • @ThundareRed

splittercore is just another name for grittercore

  • The correct name for the genre would be Terrorcore

  • j-core or speed core

  • All in one: its gabber! right?

  • Is this gabber? of terrorcore? (or darkcore??)

  • @SakuraHagarachi its gabber ;)

  • Lulz this is from .Hack//roots xD

  • i listened it double ... half second difference , thats like an echo , inclusive music....

  • Comment removed

  • Very similar to Trespasserz :p

  • Bowbowbowbowbowbow BOW BOW BOW. Awesome.

  • The Terror of Speedcore !

  • i think i found my new sub genre...

  • awesome sound

  • Darkcore, Speedcore, hardcore, Gabba, what the hell is the freaking difference?

  • Look on wikipedia and find out for youself.....

  • shit loadz

  • some are faster some are slower some are harder some are more evil. although there isnt much difference between hardcore and gabber one is just more distorted.

  • LOL Really?

Real hardcore is gabber, but now we have fags like Sy and gammer and dougal ... these scum bags call themselves hardcore but they are nothing

there music is more like trance

  • dougal and gammer and those other faggots arnt hardcore in anyway. i dont consider them hardcore at all. i mean there are different genres of hardcore/frenchcore/terrorcore/speedcore/gabber/etc

  • soo many subgenres. they're all epic except chip tune lol

  • @The78thdude See also; Death Metal, Black Metal, etc.

  • @Ytiruces

I agree, if there is one genre that has way too many sub-genres it has to be metal

  • @Exhalent maybe but at least the vast majority actually IS different from one another

  • @The78thdude There is no difference, people just try to hard to differentiate themselves from everything else. In reality, it all pretty much is the same just with slight minute variations.

No disrespect to any of the sub-genre's. I love almost all of them, but come on, you guys know this is true.

  • @The78thdude Speedcore is fast with heavy bass, hardcore is slower than speedcore but still heavy, Gabba is the speed of hardcore but has a heavier sound/bass. U got me on darkcore tho

  • @The78thdude darkcore is boring, speedcore is just fast bass and barely any rythm, hardcore=angerfist or korsakoff, gabba=neophyte

  • @The78thdude In general, Darkcore/Terrorcore and Gabber are the Deathcore and Metal of techno, respectively. Speedcore is a genre where songs range at tempos from 300-1000bpm. Hardcore is a less, in lack of a better word, hardcore, than Gabber.

  • @The78thdude lots of differences xD wikipedia

  • @The78thdude my point exactly. sheeesh

i understand classifieing music a LITTLE bit.. but wow.

  • @The78thdude well the difference between speedcore and hardcore are obvious, speedcore is a completely higher BPM, while hardcore focuses on hard bass, and slower BPM. ive never even heard of darkcore and gabba, lol.

  • @The78thdude darkcore is hardcore with gabber cliches but no distortion, gabber is darkcore with distorted kicks, and speedcore is gabber but really fucking fast

  • @The78thdude the Names -.-

  • Real awesome ! 5/5

    HARDCORE 4 FUCKING LIFE !

  • some pretty nice stuff, i like the japanese in there, this is now the second hardcore song i know that's got japanese in it, the other one is from the meccano twins - pure intentions

  • @FranticDragon Don't worry, I'll ring you up if/when I do.

  • @RemBot2000 totally agree

  • I wonder why sound clips from Death Note went in here...

  • Sharpnel Sound is a record label that deals with a variety of electronic music.

The special twist about it is that most of the songs have an anime twist to them.

Sharpnel likes to sample anime in there songs... >_>

  • Actually it's .hack. In the anime, .hack//Roots, the main character Haseo is also called "The Terror of Death".

And yes, Sharpnel loves using anime sounds.

  • Becuz the music DJ Sharpnel does is called Gabber, it's not just because they love using anime sounds :)

  • omg i used to watch hack//Sign a loong long time ago.. wonder why they stopepd airing over here.. did it get cancelled? i need to watch some more. i loved the opening video :P but back then i liked inuyasha to so what can you expect :P

  • .hack//SIGN is a good anime series. This song is related to .hack//Roots.

  • this song is pure gabber song.

but other songs like zenon is much happy hardcore.this one is good.sounds better

  • To get some good happy core check out SOUND OF SOS and ZAP YOUR CHANNELS

  • i'm not realy for some happy hardcore :p.

  • i'm from the u.s and i'm all about gabber,hardstyle,trance,techno,house,hard nrg,terrorcore,speedcore and everything involving the dance genres^^

dutch hardcore is known as gabber ^_^

  • hellsystem*

  • Masters of Hardcore yup yup awesome shit

  • The first bit reminded me of Naruto, like the speaking cause of that shocker sound thing

Might have to watch .Hack// Ive seen legends of twilight

  • .hack is awesome and so this song.

  • i like dj sharpnel its my fav dj but for some reason this reminds me of haseo from .hack//roots

  • Well it is called 'The Terror of Death', and it has the avatar's 'ring' several times throughout. I'd assume it's a remix of .Hack//GU, like how Sharpnel's 'Puriny Squad' is clearly a remix of the Disgaea games.

  • 1:45-2:07 was weird... O.o

  • Basicly, I love Sharpnel, but this is just great. Reminds me og Björk - Pluto. Dunno y.

  • Dj Sharpnel = Pwnage.

  • one of the biggest dot hack fans out there, nice vid!

  • one song not to listen to in the dark

  • .hack//Roots and DJ Sharpnel work well together

  • I love this music...

  • respect DJ Sharpnel everyone because its because of him i play his music at Anime Raves.

    DJ Soren Sky

  • He's one of the Gabber pioneers too. RESPECT HIM!

  • Anime raves...

    I wonder how that looks!

  • lol anime raves

    hahahahahahahaha

  • i love this song omfg

  • OMG, DJ sharpnel is the only artist that makes hardcore and similar music that I actually like.

This song is, once again, simply amazing.

  • Yeah, DJ Sharpnel just takes clips of audio from TV shows and such into their music, which is pretty freakin' awesome sounding. This just happens to be from .hack, maybe from .hack//G.U. Trilogy, just maybe... And seriously, I don't really care whatever-the-hell core it is, it's just pure godly, period.

  • I have to agree with you, I love .hack// so much. It also sounds like Ali Project's singing in this as well. Since they did the .hack//Roots music.

  • Well, just for reference purposes (in case you want to find more) it's darkcore, very very strong darkcore. That's what amazes me about Sharpnel, he can go from happy to darkcore just like that.

  • The sound at the beginning reminds of the C in A major from .hack//. Nice song.

  • wtf are u guys talking about, genre? its music simple get over it listen love it!!!!! hate it then dont comment and go listen to some bitch ass MUSIC!!! u like

  • You know what's more fun than arguing about what genre an awesome song belongs to? Shutting the fuck up and listening to the awesome song.

  • no1 posting here other then that meancondes knows that this is terrorcore lol

  • You have no basis in making that assumption. Also, stop being an elitist.

  • except for the whole, you know, fact that it's terrorcore.

  • I meant making the assumption that "meancondes" is the only one who is aware of this fact, which I do, in fact, agree with. Jesus fucking Christ.

  • Wicked. Absolutely wicked. Love it. Though I enjoy Data Drain more.

  • can i get an mp3 for this please?

  • it's darkcore

    n00bz

  • You're a fucking moron.

  • naruto lyrics??^^ whahaha funny ass shit

  • One of my top three favourite Sharpnel songs.

  • LOVE IT EVIL AS SHIT

  • is terrorcore u dumshit !!!

  • That's Darkcore.

  • Not really ,Ophidian makes Darkcore yeah, but he has industrial sounds in his tracks too

  • dude The easiest way is youst to record it. open for an exampel cooledit. go to u sound card option an select record source "what you here"

then youst press reckord and start the video.

  • ZOMG HELL NAHHH i am such a big FUCKING FAN OF .HACK!!!! and SHARPNEL!!!! can somone tell me how the hell to find all theses awsome songs?? i would most deffinilty love to download them all!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

  • go get soulseek its were i get tons of this stuff

  • Dude... you can get a torrent with all 260+ of DJ's Sharpnel's songs. Why are people trying to go through the hassle of download + convert to mp3?

Google is your best friend. I own all DJ Sharpnel's productions except ANL Destroyer.

  • People if you want the song, either illegally download it somehow (the cheap way) or be a good person buy purchasing the CD it came from...I forgot what it was, but you will want to buy Sharpnel's CDs....just cuz they're that awesome. (yes...sharpnel is two people...a girl and a guy). HAX.

  • I prefer the cheap way, because...

  • dude, when you view a video on here, if using say ie6, its in ur temporary internet files....go there find a file with some crazy combo of characters but it wont have an extension, just rename it to movie.flv trust me i know what im talking about

  • positive.

  • you can rip its called downloading the flv converting to mp3 come on learn your facts and stop putting the human race to shame

  • Ofcourse i could, but want it in mp3.

  • then convert it

  • Yeah, but the quality wont be near perfect :)

  • yes it will be,

zamzar has zero to none loss of quality..
